I really need to clean our carpet, and for some reason I have zero desire to call in a company to do it, even a "green" one. Just seems like less work to do it myself lol.

I have a machine I can use, but I know I will need something besides just water on our high traffic areas. Does anyone have experience here? Will just vinegar do it? Any other recommendations?
