hello friends,iam happy to post this new thread,for those who are taking there daily shots(injectables) to conceive,
this is my second FSH shot today little painful ,but i overcome the pain ......by hoping this time i get BFP

I am so happy to hear it is going well for you! So far I have only done the trigger shot just before ovulation. Not ready to think about daily shots yet, but definitely wishing you well!

I'm done with shots for this cycle. Just triggered last night and will be doing IUI tomorrow. How many days of injects will you be doing?

I did 7 days of Follistim, it was supposed to be 8 but I had such a good response he cut it back to 7. Then the trigger shot after that.

hi ktbelle97,just i want to ask u that if we don't take HCG TRIGGER SHOT with FSH injection the follicle which is developed in very good size it will not rupture unless we take hcg injection???iam confused my doc did not tell anything about hcg ,she told that she will do follicular study scan on 9th day....please clear my doubt....

You will still O without the trigger shot. The trigger just times your O if you are going to have an IUI. For instance, my RE usually prescribes the trigger shot 36 hours before the IUI. GL with your follie scan!!!

My doctor told me that the trigger shot helps with release of multiple eggs - you will O one egg without the shot, but it's much less likely you will O multiple eggs.

hi ,ktbelle97 and Gwenn,i had my follicular study on CD9, post 3 painful fsh injections, the growth of follicles on both ovaries measures as follows in right ovary 8x8mm and in left ovary 6x6mm ,how good is the progress with regard to the growth of the follicles?what is the expected size of the dominant follicle on 9 th day....doc said on 9th day the size must be minimum 12 mm

iam worried about the size of follicles

My doctor feels the best results are with a follicle that is 18mm or larger when you ovulate. He usually monitors me around day 15 - I don't know what size that would be on day 9. Hope this helps.

This cycle my follies were pretty big by CD8 already but I was on a higher dosage this month, and I had already been on meds for 5 days compared to your 3. On CD8 I already had a 14mm and 15mm follie. Last cycle it went a lot more slowly though, and there is always some normal variation in sizes. Is your doc going to change your dosage because of the follie sizes? When do you go back for your next scan?

on 9th day evening doc saw the size of the follicles and suggested to take one more fsh injection same day itself.....and again i have a scan on 11th day.... don't know what happens in this cycle,iam with lot of hopes to get bfp in this cycle but seeing doc face my dreams fell to ground

Hi,friends,it seems FSH injections did not worked out for me this cycle to ovulate but iam waiting up to CD17 and decided to do one more scan and see my follicle growth by GOD'S grace i may ovulate on CD20 may be ...

if this cycle fails with injections,then we want to go for iui,i want to ask u friends whether the iui process is for male problems or for female problems ,i heard that ivf for female problems like pcos etc and iui for male problems like less semen count ,
i don't want to go for ivf that is risk method iam afraid of that ,iam worried sooo much i want to go for iui ,my DH as no issues he is healthy, problem is within me that is pcos


please friends tell me the iui process,which injections they use in iui and how many days?

I have used Follistim with my IUI's and the plan is usually to do 8 days of injections, but depending on response it can be more or less. My first cycle this time around I did 10 days, then this current cycle he increased my dosage and I only ended up doing 7 days because the follies grew so fast. I always start the injections on CD3. to you!!!
