Double Dipping?

Can you double dip with LH? I took a test tonight and when I dipped it and put it down I realized I probably didn't dip it long enough but let it sit 5 mins and when I looked at it, there was barely a control line and no LH line so I quickly dipped it again, Same urine sample and everything and let it sit 5 mins again and it came back strong! So now I'm thinking maybe it's just double the test so the dye is doubled? Not sure if I should test again because I only have 9 tests left, suppose I could re-order more tests and they should get here in time so I don't run out... Not sure, any ideas?

I don't think it would effect it that way, and I am going to have to be a POAS pusher right now and say PEE WOMAN!!! that is a very nice dark line, FX!!!!

I'm not sure. I know with HPT you need to dip then hold flat. Holding them at an angle can screw the test up. I'd probably test again to be sure. Or you could DTD tonight and test again in the AM.

I think I will test again tonight, My DH leaves on the 8th and that's CD 14 and I'm on CD 12 right now so if that's positive and I ovulate tonight then it'd be such perfect timing!!! The pressure is on. I have 9 LH tests left but just found a 100 pack on Amazon for 11.99 so I may just take another test tonight and order the 100 pack and if it doesn't happen this month at least next month I can take them as much as I want!

haha we've been dtd every night, not just for o time but because we are still sorta newly weds and the mood is just there so I'm fairly well covered up until the 8th when he is gone to work until he comes home on the 10th which is my CD 16 so he is gone CD 14-16 and by CD 16 I'm afraid it will probably be too late for my usual 28 day cycle.

So I took another test and it came back negative for sure, faint line. Sample taken at 8:40 and I took the first sample at 6:30 so not really a lot of time between tests so maybe it's diluted but doesn't matter I guess, just wanted to set it straight for now. I will retest again tomorrow at 5:30 after work and I'll see if it goes up or down. If this test is correct then I still haven't O'd. Sure hope it happens soon, otherwise I'm gonna have to go on Clomid next cycle. BUT I better DTD tonight JUUUUSSST in case!! haha

Kinda feel like crap in a way though because if I don't O by the time he gets back it's CD 16 and by then shouldn't I have O'd for sure? UGH I just hope this doesn't mean this whole month is a waste and that I'm going to have to go on Clomid next cycle to make me O.. who knows!
