    Default am i pregnant?

In 18 years old and I have one questions. Last month in June I started my period in the middle of the month and usually when I have a period the next month I start around the same time. I ended my birth control a couple months ago too. I haven't started my period this month (July) and I'm kind of worried. I have slight cramping but no bleeding and it's almost august. My nipples are also tender, not the breast itself but just the nipples. Could I be pregnant?

I take it that you were having unprotected sex sometime after your last period? Then yes, it is possible. Have your cycles been regular since stopping your birth control? I do know that it can take some women up to a year before their cycles become regular again.

Since you think that you are about a week late, you could take a pregnancy test now and have a reliable result.

Yes me and my husband have been having unprotected sex. Its really hard for me to take my birth control because I always forget to take it. So if I'm not pregnant I'll be switching to the nuva ring. I'm always pretty regular with my periods. It wouldn't be a problem if I were pregnant. I'm just curious as to what's happening cuz this has never happened before. Thanks for your reply

I took two tests yesterday and one this morning. They all came out positive right away

I'm happy . I just don't know if I should wait until I go to the doctor to get excited. Im just so scared that theyre false positives or something. I want to make sure I have a little one growing in there. But if it's for sure I'm definitely going to be excited!

What test did you use? It's far more common to get a false negative then a false positive! Congratulations!! BTW, you should join the due date rooms on here. They are a lot of fun and a good way to meet other women in the same place as you.

Yes, a positive means you are pregnant - especially a dark line that shows up quickly.

I used first response and not the cheaper ones. When I peed on it the first time the two pink lines showed up really fast. And yeah I've read a lot of stuff and they all said that there rarely is a false positive. I know I'm young but my husband's in the army and I'm glad I got pregnant at this time

Congrats, again! I would really recommend trying out the due date room (you'd be either March or April - probably March), too. It's great to talk with other women that are as pregnant as you are.
