Not again...

Yesterday, I worked my tail off at work. I work on a blood Mobile and yesterday was very busy. By the end of the day, I was cramping really bad. Then when I got home, I had to pee. When I wiped, there was a streak of brown blood and then a couple of hours later, it did it again. That was all the spotting there was so far, but I'm still cramping pretty bad. I know the progesterone can cause cramping, but I wonder if something else is going on. I'm working today but explained to my coworkers that I will be sitting today. I'm so worried but trying to stay calm. I have an ultrasound scheduled for Monday. I wish Monday was today. Ugh!!! I am gonna go crazy until then! Please pray this little bean sticks and is healthy.

Well, I jinxed myself by writing this post. I just went to the bathroom and I had a good bit of very light pink when I wiped. :'(

Prayer said Momma. I know it's so scary when you've had previous losses. I had some brown and red blood around 5 weeks too. Just remember the suppositories can make you spot too. My cousin, an OB nurse, says they don't even blink an eye at brown discharge.

Oh no im praying its just normal spotting ive been having very red bleeding and passed a few clots and they said everything was fine. When you get home lay down and rest. Ill be anxiously waiting

I've been ordered by Dh to stay in the bed, except to use the bathroom. So, that's what I'm doing. I still have lots of cramping but the spotting is gone for now, once again. I will kup. Please keep praying everything's ok.

NAUSEA AND VOMITING
Common gastrointestinal side effects include nausea and vomiting, as well stomach pain and bloating. According to RxList.com, during the clinical trials of the medication, about 8 percent of patients experienced nausea, while 3 percent experienced vomiting. Abdominal pain is also common and was seen in about 12 percent of individuals. Women must keep in mind that there are also common symptoms of pregnancy; progesterone suppositories may worsen these side effects in some pregnant women.

BREAST TENDERNESS AND SWELLING
Progesterone suppositories may lead to breast pain and swelling, states PubMed Health. This is due to the fluctuations of hormones in the body. Once the body grows accustomed to the drug, patients should see a decrease in this side effect.

VAGINAL EFFECTS
Progesterone suppositories are inserted directly into the vagina and can, therefore, lead to irritation, discomfort and itching. Women may also notice increased discharge. If these adverse reactions do not go away or become severe, seek medical attention right away. Some women may also experience pain during sexual intercourse. Drugs.com reports that spasms of the uterus and vaginal bleeding occur in about 3 percent of women during clinical trials. The patient should speak with a physician if any of these side effects occur.

HEADACHE AND FATIGUE
Headache and fatigue are common side effects seen with the initial use of the medication. About 3 to 4 percent of patients may experience these side effects, states the "Drug Information Handbook." The patient should be careful when driving or performing activities that require attention to detail if she experiences fatigue. Headaches may be treated with acetaminophen or aspirin.

MOOD SWINGS AND IRRITABILITY
Patients on progesterone suppositories may also experience changes in mood, such as mood swings and irritability. Although these side effects were not seen during the clinical trials, Drugs.com explains that these side effects are expected in medications which contain progesterone.

Thinking of you! If it helps at all, with my son I bled a TON, like a heavy period, convinced I was miscarrying, but all was fine!!! I forget the term they used for it, maternal lake? Something.... they didn't seem too interested in giving me much information and I looked up everything I could myself. Now I forget what it was. Anyway, lots of sticky vibes!!
