    Default Finally finding closure.

I had my D&C follow up appointment today. Basically she asked how I was and if I had any change of heart about not trying any more. Of course I said no but we will re-evaluate in a year or 2. Then she got to the fun part... the genetics. The baby did have a imbalanced trans location and had too many of chromosome 16. I knew that was the case but getting it verified made it all more real. I then asked the question she said not many ask but I am a need to know it all. What was the gender. Well........ it was a boy. We have decided to call him Cameron Michael.

I have went though some rough spells but with out my husband and amazing best friends... well IDK if I would of been strong enough to go to that appointment. I am slowly coming to terms with it all and I am thankful for my little boy every day even when he aggravates me. Thank you ladies for being my rock though all of my journeys.

Oh, Sammi. I am so glad that you do have that support in your life and that you do have your little miracle boy. I wish that I could offer more!
Jessica (32) and Ryan (31). Madelyn born August 5, 2009 and Malachi born December 23, 2010. Lost a loved baby 02/29/12, 05/14/12 and 07/05/12 all due a serious allergic reaction to fabric softener.

I know all of this is hard, but you do have a perfect child who loves you to no end, I'm glad you did go to the appointment and get answers for closure if nothing else, and a wonderful support system is KEY. Many prayers my dear

Cameron is a beautiful name, and I'm sorry you had to say goodbye to him too soon.

I'm glad you have the support of your family & friends. I pray that your mind and body will allow you to move forward when you're ready. Sending you lots of hugs during this time of healing!
