has anyone heard of thermography for detecting breast cancer?

I am a little leery of mammograms, I did have a baseline mamo at age 35. Now at 41 I am thinking I should have something done either, mammo or thermograhy. I do have family history of cancer. My mom had a lumpectomy at 69, then one year later she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.

Yesterday I learned an old friend of mine, who is my age, has breast cancer and cervical cancer. It's terrible. Cancer just scares the sh!t out of me. But I don't necessarily go along 100% with Western doctors. But I also think that *IF* my mother had a colonoscopy 10 years earlier, she might still be here with us.
