    Default how was your week?

OK, let's recap the week. How was it? What do you have planned for upcoming week? Are you doing anything different with your kiddos or for yourself or DH?

How was my week? Just got back from the beach for a week. We had alot of fun but I am exhausted. Unpacked and washed today so have a zillion pieces of clothes to fold. Although it was very nice, being away is still alot of work Do you all feel the same when you are away?

Am I doing anything different this week? Nope, nothing planned. Well, I am taking DD to zoo this week. Tuesday is half off day so planning on going after nap since she goes to MDO on Tuesday morning. Maybe DH will meet us there after he gets off from work.

Oh, I have a goal to spend more time outside playing really hard with DD. She loves being outside.

Last week was ok. We stayed home a lot to clean and pack for our trip. We bought a new car which was very stressful. (Long story but the short version: My dh got in an accident the beginning of June and totaled his. He was injured so no hurry for a new one. The week before last we went to the dealership we bought our new mini van from and bought a used car. Five days later the transmission went out and we decided not to risk another used and just bought new. We haven't had to car payments in like 5 years so it is a little scary!)

Yesterday I drove with my boys back home to see my parents for the week. I agree it is a lot of work to be away from home! Tomorrow we are going to my sister's place. She was a little farm that is all eco friendly. It is near a large river that we will visit also. We plan to go to the local splash pad Wednesday. I don't know what else yet. My dh is volunteering at a camp all week so we will all meet up at home this weekend. For myself, I started my second round of P90X today! I am doing a hybrid this time with Insanity.

Late to this, but thought I'd answer anyway. This last week I took the girls on a 4 hour trip by myself to visit my family. Yes, I am exhausted!! I love seeing my family, but when it's just me all they want is MOM! So, they took turns being whiney and grouchy so it was not a vacation for me, LOL. We did have a great time though. Saw my nephew in a play, took all the kids to a circus, went to the beach and had a pool party at my brother's house. Lots of fun! We got back yesterday, today we went to a science program for the girls and I spent the afternoon doing laundry, cleaning up, etc. Tomorrow we have a playdate. I really, really, really need to schedule in some me time for the end of the week or weekend, I'm wiped out. While I was away DH had the whole house to himself, got to go out with friends, had more friends over for a card game... I am super jealous! I know it's wrong to be, but I have been dying to have some socialization and adult time and missed out on all of that. Maybe we can actually get out alone for our anniversary in a couple of weeks, fingers crossed!

Forever loved, forever missed... Twin Girls with us for 19w3d 6/12/06

Your week sounds like you had fun but you were SUPER busy!!!! I am proud of you for driving 4 hours; I dread the 1.5 hour drive to my Mom's.

Yes, schedule yourself some time. What would you like to do?
