    Default Cycle Monitoring

Had my appointment for cycle monitoring today. On the right I had a 16mm and 14mm follie, and on the left one 15mm and one 14mm. Lining was only 4mm. IUI will be Tuesday afternoon (!) with a trigger shot 3am Monday. Yuck. Wish me luck.

Wow, that's a lot of follies! Wonder if they will all release with trigger shot? That sucks about having to wake up at 3am for trigger. Ugh!! Will be thinking of you Tuesday for your IUI!!! We can keep each other company in the 2ww!

3am! Yikes! I hope that the inconvenience ends up really being worth it.

The doctor said I would release at least one from each ovary - so he didn't seem to think it was a guarantee that I'd release all four. Either way, I'm excited there are so many. I had 4 follies (3 on the left, 1 on the right) the cycle I had my chemical so I did conceive that time around. The other times I haven't had as many, I didn't conceive.

I know! What's worse is, next week is my last week off work and I'm trying to get back to a normal sleep schedule so I can get up on time for work without dragging. Since I'm a night owl, I really struggle with that and I planned to stick to a rigid bedtime next week. I wonder if it would make that much difference if I just took it at midnight and then got to sleep straight through? I won't, though, I always feel like I need to follow doctor's orders.

Good luck Gwenn! (And also, yikes about 3am! Do you usually trigger at such weird times?)

My doctor does it 34 hours ahead. He is apparently scheduled for IVF all Tuesday morning, so the appointment isn't until 2:00pm - which means 3 am for the trigger. Usually my appointment is more like 10am, with a trigger at 11pm. Much more do-able!

IUI is done! 79 million sperm, and everything went well. FX for this month to be my month.

I start work next week so I will definitely have a lot to think about. Not ready for the summer to be over, but at least I'll be occupied!
