Default Leaving baby with a sitter????

    Need opinions.....

We are going to a wedding tomorrow, and I have a sitter for both girls....sounds nice? But I'm nervous, our baby is almost 4 weeks old, and has been nursing around the clock and has now started nursing very well on my right side(she was only nursing on left just a day ago)!!!!!! I feel like she is really in a growth spurt.....

So.........I know it's good to get out once in a while, but should I really leave her with a sitter when she's doing so amazing nursing? (she also takes bottles just fine) We planned to go to the wedding with the baby...go home and nurse before bed and then go to the reception/dance without baby....her "normal" night routine is to nurse before bed around nine and then wakes up at midnight to nurse...then it's up in the air from there....So she would basically get two to three bottles at the most

    HONEST OPINIONS please

I think you would be perfectly fine. Will you pump while out? I left DD for like 24 hours at 4 weeks old with my mom to go to DH's graduation in another state. She did just fine and went right back to the boob as soon as I got home.

See I wouldn't go personally but I rarely leave my kids that young. That is totally just me. I would definitely pump. As long as you know she will take the bottle you should be ok.

I would take the baby and continue to nurse on demand.

Me too. I wouldn't leave a baby that young, but for no other reason than I wouldn't want to be away from her.

I think you will be fine though. And if I did lace for a few hrs but came home to nurse, I wouldn't pump.
