Default Have you told everyone yet?

if not, when are you planning to?

I've told everyone. EVERYONE! Including my four year who is so excited to be a big sister and continually asks if the baby is getting bigger and talks about all the things she wants to teach him. I know things can happen early on (sadly we know all too well as one March mommy has left us already)
Which makes me wonder if maybe I should have waited a few months to announce it to everyone.

    What did you guys do?

I still havent told anyone (except somehow , people find out) but I've only told my sis,my mom, and my dad... I dont plan on telling FB for a while ( might tell at 13w or when we find out the gender). I have told my daughter 18m (dont think she cares yet ) but I plan on telling my family friend after the first US because I have a way of telling her. I was going to get a thank you card or a surprise card and tape the US pic to the back and have an arrow pointing to turn it over. I had a dream about telling her like that.

My DH knows, I've mentioned it to the kids (and now my 4 yr old DS insists he has a baby in his belly too) and to my best friend.

Waiting until after my first u/s to mention it to close family -- and will be around the end of August for the rest of the world!

Had my first a/s today, everything looks good so I told my close friends. Immediate family knows as well. Nervous to tell more people than that... I feel like people just know or figure it out so quickly before I'm ready to share and I'm a terrible liar. Those of you waiting to tell, how do you hide it?

Well given my last two losses; I didnt want to say anything to anyone besides my mom n dad n sis. But, I was suppose to go to a bachlorette party this wknd and the bride to be is a bff who was actuall over at my place fri night and saw me pack the pg test for the am :S So I had to tell her, but I know i can trust her, also somehow my really close cousin found out (not sure how) but I can also trust her, and one other close friend know but like i have said before, she is trustworthy........so anyway besides those three my mom, dad n sister know. I told DD but she said she doest want a brother or sister, just cause hahahaha Im not sure she understands yet, maybe once I start showing (she is only 3, I guess she can say she doesnt want a sib)
As far as telling the world aka facebook Ill wait til either after first trimester or after we find out the sex

I understand why some of you are holding off telling people just yet..i'm sorry for your previous losses. I've always heard waiting 3 months before spreading the news, which isn't too long of a wait. I totally jumped the gun and now walking on egg shells a bit.. I wish us all a healthy 9 months here!!

Well aside from all of my loses im waiting bc I know I will get alot of judgement from FB and I have crazy inlaws. The people im close to I already told. When I got pg w DD I told everyone!! I was so excited I ended up telling FB before I told my mom and DH. This time I told my sis first before DH, only bc I was having a mental break down. But when I tell FB I'll message those friends I want to know.

I'm just grateful I'm only working for the next 2 1/2 weeks this summer (I work with severe behavioural/mental health teens and we perform physical restraints and some kids can be very violent). Normally I'd tell my boss right away and get modified work (not working front line with the clients) for my pregnancy (and therefore I normally have to tell everyone fairly early because once my work knows, its on facebook, etc...). But this summer I'm working at one of the quietest residences and doing mostly nights so I'm going to hold off and not talk to work until I have to go back to my school program around the end of August!!

Ahhhhh!!!!!! I just found out I'm pregnant and I'm already struggling with this issue!! I has a miscarriage last year & I hate to tell everyone and something happens. But I'm having some trouble not calling everyone I know and telling them right this instant. I would be pleased if I could just tell my mom, but I'm not sure if I an trust her to not tell all of her sisters... Then my whole family would know & I'm not ready for that yet... What to do??

    oh yeah, hi!

I won't be telling anyone until I can't hide it anymore. I am too scared to jinx myself again. Too bad I can't hide out until March, and then be like, "Hey, looky here! We just had a baby."

I haven't told anyone. My MIL is a complete nightmare and I don't want to deal with her for as long as possible. I wish I could wait until after the baby is here! Since that's not possible, I'm hoping to squeak out 4 months. I started showing relatively early with my DD though so I might not get to wait that long. I plan on telling my sister soon. I know she won't tell anyone.

lol ohhhh my!!!~ I dont' think I'd ever be able to live that down if I did that! For some reason with this pregnancy I was bursting at the seams to tell people, probably because a lot of people knew that we had been trying for several months, and I was just excited to spread the good news. Within 4 days of me finding out, everyone in my life knew...then I started feeling slightly crampy...and had an 'uh oh' moment, realizing full well that it's so early... and I shouldn't get ahead of myself. I know another reason I had a hard time keeping it quiet was because I got slammed with morning sickness right away so I FELT very pregnant right from day one with this one. With my first, I felt nothing for months and I spread the knews cautiously because I didnt feel any different so it felt odd telling people.
I'm happy were all here spreading the news to eachother because that's exciting too! Can't wait till MARCH!

Yeah trust me telling everyone right away was something I couldnt wait to do... We were trying for 2 yrs before I got my and I couldnt keep it in any longer. DH wasnt mad that I didnt tell him first. My mom on,the other hand was kinda hurt she had to find out from FB. I wasnt trying to hurt anyone but I was trying to find a way to tell her I ended up emailing her explaining how sorry I really was ( me and my mom arnt close) but this time I emailed her after I told my sis and she is so excited
