Ignorant about Pregnancy and Birth Control
Hello to everyone...I wanted to know if someone out there had information regarding birth control, pregnancy, and infections.
a little history,
I am a 24 year old female and have been on Loestrin 24 Fe for now 3 months 3 weeks. I also take Vyvanse 50 mg every day. I am very particular and organized and take my two pills at the same time each morning and then urinate following (My alarm goes off for work i roll out of bed and take both my pills then use the restroom). Does urinating directly after affect my BC? I have not missed a single pill...way too paranoid for that. I have taken the pill an hour late once or twice, but other than that i take it in the same 2-5 minute window. My partner and I also use condoms 99% of the time, there have been a couple of instances where we have tried without, but neither time he has finished inside me. Over the past month I have experienced though more small infections that my doctor has diagnosed as UTI and gave me an antio-biotic with sulfa drugs...while on them I still took my pill and used condoms. My normal period came after my 10 days x 2 pills = 20 pills of anti-biotics...my partner and i had intercourse 5 days after the completion of my anti-biotics with a condom. That weekend though (approximately 10 days passed after my final dose of antibiotics) we went without still him not finishing inside me. After the first round of UTI (diagnosed from reg doctor) my OBGYN recommended I call her the next time i feel like i have one and prescribed me 100 mg of Microbid for 3 days and that is doesnt affect my BC, is this true? My pharmacist gave me the i guess generic version, but i trust him to do his job. I just feel like i keep getting little infections with random now pink spotting only when I wipe myself...and like i said 99% of the time we use back up protection.
I am really not ready to be pregnant and other than abstinence, I believe I have been taking the necessary precautions to not get pregnant...
Thank you.
