Default Worried That I am Pregnant

Before I begin I should state I am 23 and have been on and off the same birth-control since I was 17. I missed 2 birth-control pills earlier that month and had a yeast infection that was treated with prescribed cream and I finished the treatment 1 week before my period was expected. No one I talked to mentioned a unusual period after using vaginal cream for yeast.

My last period was on 6/15 and it was unusual; Usually I have tons of clots, heavy cramps and brownish blood towards the last days of my period -- not this time. It started off pink and lasted one day longer, but was much lighter than my normal period.

About 2 weeks after that period I am still having light cramps that don't really bother me, but I feel them.
I also woke up in the middle of night 2 days ago with a severe craving for cake -- I hope both irrelevant to one another --- lastly is waves of nausea that come and go throughout the day not stronger enough to make me vomit but enough to make my stomach uneasy(this one panics me the most...)

I could be stressing out about this since my bf of 7 months and I broke up recently. I really don't want to deliver that news .... =( Anyone had similar experiences before knowing they were pregnant ?

I doubt that the yeast infection had anything to do with a change in your period, unless you simply had an irritated cervix that bled a little instead of an actual period.

Since you did miss two pills it is possible that you did ovulate - I take it your were sexually active after you missed those two pills? If it has been two weeks since you last had sex a home pregnancy test should be able to determine if you are pregnant now or not.

My friend missed 1 pill and got pregnant. You might be able to do a EPT within the next couple of days.

Would I get an accurate test result if I test now or would I have to wait until I am closer to my expected period which should start on 7/12 ? If I test now and get an negative what are the chances of that actually being a negative.

I would honestly wait until your period is late.

I am expecting my period either later on today or tomorrow. So far I have the same symptoms 1.) Cramping, but a bit more consistent accompanied by a warm feeling in abdominal area 2.) Backaches 3.) Mild Nausea 4.) Bloating 5.) Breast Fullness with a mild ache, but not as intense as other describe their breast felt during pregnancy. I am still slightly worried because usually I would already be seeing tinges of blood when I wipe and so far nothing , but I am hopefully because it feels like my period is going to arrive.

    ---

I tested today in the morning 4/12 which would have been the first day of my period. I used a dollar store test and it came negative, now I am slightly worried that my period hasn't arrived yet and now I hearing from a friend that I could had still tested too early. When is the best time to test and which brand of pregnancy test is better in both price and accuracy ?

I think I am having a panic attack. I never felt one of these before suddenly I am just very scared of being pregnant. I feel lightheaded, chills, my heart feels like its beating a million sec per min, I almost feel breathless. When is the best time to take a pregnancy test and get accurate results.

Generally a FRER (first response early result) is the most accurate. You should wait until after your period is due and then test with first morning urine. If you do that, you have a good chance of an accurate result, but a false negative is always a possibility until your period actually arrives.

Just remember that when you are stressed out, it's not at all unusual for your period to be late just from your emotions. I hope you are feeling better soon.

I took a First Response Test this morning with my morning urine and it came out lightly postive, it wasn't dark lines , but the lines were visible. After telling my ex the news I came home and started bleeding like a period. Whats going on? Am I still pregnant ?

If you are bleeding like a period it is not likely that you are still pregnant. You can see if your doctor wants to do a BETA to see what is going on. Otherwise, monitor the bleeding and if anything crazy goes on you'll want to let your doctor know for sure. If you end of having what seems to be a normal period you can test again in a few days. If it comes up negative the pregnancy is over. If it comes up positive you should probably see your doctor.

I would say there's a possibility that you have a chemical pregnancy which is an early miscarriage.I would suggest going to the doctor and getting your blood tested before you get back on birth control just in case you're still pregnant.

I had light bleeding right after I found out I was pregnant too. It lasted about a week, was dark blood though vs bright red period blood. Baby was fine at the time, but I did miscarry at 20 weeks :-(

I would go in and talk to ur doctor. Sounds maybe like u r having a chemical pregnancy (very early miscarriage) if u r back g heavy bleeding... However, light bleeding is common in early pregnancy...
I hope things turn out how u want them too and
