Default How soon after c-section were you able to wear your baby?

Hi mamas, I was wondering how soon I can wear my DD. I had her via c-section on Saturday. Not that I have much back strength anyway and feel up for it atm but it would be nice to know how soon you were able to wear yours.
    Thank you!

I tried it pretty quick actually but if I remember right she didn't really like it. It didn't put any pressure on my scar since they're carried so high at first.

Right after we came home I started wearing him I was lucky enough to have a newborn that LOVED being worn.

I never had a C but I have mine in the moby right now. The knot is right by my belly button so I dont think it would interfere? BUT it is pushing my belly flab down so that may pose a problem? Not sure where a cs scar is....

The day I got home. Shouldn't be an issue. Newborns are pretty lightweight, lol.

I was able to wear Jericho pretty much right away. I know I wore him and spent 2 1/2 hours walking around the zoo when he was 8 days old

I wore one of ours, in the Ergo, on the plane and it was more the strain of wearing her than any actual discomfort. My back was not happy but I'm still recovering from the bedrest as well so I'm not really where others might be in the same time frame. I haven't tried a Moby yet and I did try a pouch sling but the biggest was still just too tiny for my comfort and it wasn't feeling right.

I didn't try to wear DD right after. I had her on Oct 11th and I remember wearing her the week of Halloween.

Once you're up and getting around well, you should be able to wear her without any problems. Just listen to your body. If you're feeling achey, take her out of the sling or wrap and sit down.
