    Default Forced break

I think I'm out. My health insurance is messing with me because I have to do COBRA. I had the payments taken out in my paychecks, and apparently someone or something is messed up because this is not registering. So now I have to play phone tag and stuff, but by the time it goes through my CD3 will be passed. I might just go and do it anyways, and skip the bloodwork/ultrasound. If I get the insurance straightened before the ultrasound I will go for that. As is AF isn't enough, can I just enjoy my summer please. Maybe I need the break anyways. I just don't understand what is wrong with me. Everything looked good, I'm young, his stuff looks great, why can't we make a baby. I know I know, statistics say in healthy couples, blah blah blah. When will my summer really begin, when it ends!

to everyone else, I hope your wishes come true soon!

I'm so sorry that insurance is adding to your stresses right now. It's so unfair that anyone should have to think about those extra complications when they are already struglling with such an emotional and personal issue.

I am praying for your BFP soon!!!

Girl I'm so sorry you're going through all of this. Anything adding more stress on top of all the stress of STC stress is just not cool. I just hate this for you hun. As Brea said though, it could definitely happen on the third cycle. The doc told me he was going to give me three cycles of it before we talks about other options so that seems to be pretty standard. Stupid insurance. I know what you mean about insurance. They just make you jump through hoops it's horrible. I'm sending all the I can your way sweetie.

Thank you! On another note the nurse said she will add a trigger shot or insemination the next cycle if we decide.

Do you know if you office has a sliding scale? If they don't and you don't want to take a break you could always call around and make an appt with a specialist that has a sliding scale. if your "take home" is anything below $2800 a month You will automatically get the lowest cost. At least in cali that seems to be the magic number. From there there is different tiers. Sliding scale will be anything from $25-$100 for a visit. And if you explain what program your dr. had you on (and they can have you sign a form to transfer a copy of your files over) They can help you maintain your cycles until you are ready to go back to your main Dr. They could even get you on Met. And Met is only $4 at wallmart. You can have them transfer a copy of there notes back when you are ready to go back to your regular dr.

    My FX for you!!!

Or. You can take a summer vacation. Maybe it will just happen. Taking a break can be really good sometimes.

My boss is trying to work it out right now. Hopefully she can. I am so sad. We have a vacation planned for the end of July, we should ovulate before, so maybe it will keep me away from the sticks this month. I dunno. It's DH's birthday then too, which will probably make me want to test more, but I will try and not pack anything to test with. My MIL called all excited because I didn't get it yesterday, as I was trying not to cry and say it came this morning. I hate that she has to be so on top of me, if I had good news I would tell you. Since you didn't hear anything, just assume it's the usual. I love her and wish we were as close as we used to be but this STC has torn us apart, and she has a "chosen one," so it's really frustrating not to take offense to them. I kind of want to give up but I know I can't do it on my own.
Will a trigger shot even help me if I am getting such good positive O strips? I really don't think I would want to do insemination, anyone with experience?

hope the insurance stress is figured out...what a PITA. Trigger usually goes along with insemination, not usually trigger alone. The trigger is used to precisely time ovulation so that the insemination time is good for fertilization. I had my first IUI last month and it really wasn't that bad..small catheter is placed through the cervix and the washed sperm is delivered. Had some cramping that night but some of that may have been ovulation not IUI. I personally found it to be not that big of a deal...and I really was hesitant to want to do it at first. I did get my BFP but it wasn't sticky....but that was a progesterone issue likely not an IUI issue. Good luck with whatever you decide and let me know if you have more specific questions.

You just watch, you won't know when you O and BAM....preggo....happens all the time. Sometimes that is what is needed....TTC adds so much stress and that doesn't help. Enjoy your summer but don't you dare lose hope....you are young and you WILL carry your miracle when it's meant to be

Yep, Not doing femara again. The insurance is not in fact fixed, even though she said it was. SO now I have to pay out of the ass for the **** bloodwork I did this morning, and cannot afford to get my **** medicine. AND of course nobody is open on the holiday.
You know what this is though, as if 17 months wasn't enough, now this proves that I am NOT meant to be a mother. The world does not see me ready or fit as one, as I should just give up and live a lonely cat lady life with my husband.

I am sorry you are going through this. I have totally been in your shoes, insurance issues and all. It doesn't mean you aren't meant to be a mommy. Maybe just not right now....there is a special plan for you at a special time. It's hard for me to hear that, but I wanted to let you know your day will come....miracles happen everyday. I am always here if you need to talk/vent, etc.

I know this is selfish, but in the meantime I have to idle around while everyone else has my dreams, and I am stuck at home taking care of my cats. Man, I sound like such a selfish little child, I want a baby and I want one now. It is just really hard to wait, I know I need to but it is breaking my heart.

You are NOT selfish at all. I think we all have felt the way you are feeling, it's hard watching everyone else get pregnant when you have been trying/are trying so hard. I wish I could take your pain away, honey. I know the heartbreak all too well......

I'm so sorry you are going through this, and I totally feel you, we've been trying for two years and the joy of the BFP just crashes with a MC. And everyone around me is getting pregnant and having beautiful healthy pregnancies, is so frustrating! But I am sure our time will come. <hugs>

Playing the waiting game with insurance, but I called my RE and they are looking into seeing if they can somehow make it cheaper for me.

Thank you so much!! They did! They found a pharmacy that had saved coupons and had it for only $11. More than I'm used to but it is MUCH better. I'm still worried about the bloodwork, if I would have known I would not have done it. It is going to be expensive I'm sure, I really really hope this insurance gets resolved and they pay for it. UGH!!!!! Keep me in your thoughts please, is that wrong of me to ask, lol.

No, that is not wrong of you to ask...EVER. That is what I am here for....you are in my thoughts and prayers, hun. KMP. I am glad the helped with some of it....that is great news and I hope they do with the blood work, too. No, you needed it...don't beat yourself up about it, ok!!! IF (which I am praying doesn't happen) they do charge you, they HAVE to accept a payment plan, so you can pay what you can until it's paid off...I hope that helps....... I know how frustrating all this is for you....hang in there, here if you need to talk!!!!

Thinking about you sweetie and so glad to hear that they helped you out! RE's seem to be so good about trying to make things like that easier for you. And I agree with Malia, they have to accept a payment plan if you get charged for the blood work. I'm currently on one for my d&c. My insurance only covers 80% of outpatient surgeries so I'm always charged over $1000 for each surgery if it's not inpatient. So I set up a payment plan and they made it really easy and affordable for me. Might be paying on it for a while but at least we know we can do that. Good luck sweetie!

GL! I am new to the TTC process, but I do second what's said above, hospitals are normally very willing to work stuff out and drop their rates/do a payment plan, since that is better for them than not getting paid at all. But it can be a huge pain to go through especially when to are dealing with other things! I hope everything gets better for you soon

Well everything seems to be in order FINALLY. I was able to get my medicine for $6, and should have insurance now. I'm thinking I should call the bloodwork place and make sure that goes through, and if not then have them try it again and call me back. I think I'm going to tell my MIL that we are not going to try anymore, sick of her being on top of me and then telling me we are just missing our time. We have been missing our time for 17 months while we are observing almost every detail. But my hunny doesn't want to because he feels it's lying, which I agree and don't want to do it myself, I can't lie to that lady. But it would be SO much easier.

Ugh it sucks that you have to go through all of this with your MIL. People can just say the cruelest things about STC sometimes. We didn't tell anyone that we were trying other than my parents and mostly only because we were joking with them about it. Lol. I like to gross out my step dad so I'd call up and say "Guess what I'm about to ovulate! Know what that means?"....sadly nothing grosses him out. They've been great support for us though. However, since I had the m/c after we told family now EVERYONE knows we're trying. So far no one has invaded our privacy about it but I worry that they will. And while we were visiting family weekend before last my SIL told me that they're going to start trying again as soon as she can stop smoking again which she thinks will be soon...they've already gone my niece who's not even two yet and their relationship isn't great. All the do is fight. Geez. Anyway, my point in all of this rambling is that people just don't get it. You are doing everything you can and you're doing everything right so the fact that it hasn't happened yet is not on you honey. You could always just scream at her and tell her to butt out then blame it on the hormones... Lol Just kidding.
