    Default Anybody here???

all!!! I am officially back in this room -- I have posted in STC-A but wanted to say hello to anyone who's hanging out in STC too. Although it looks pretty quiet in this room right now!

For those I don't know, we STC'ed for almost 2 years with DS, and finally got pg with IUI #7 (2nd try with injectables). This time around we are going to start with the injectables right away so hopefully it doesn't take as long! I have PCOS and a short LP. I don't O at all on my own so I am in the middle of taking Provera to induce AF so we can start our cycle.

Anybody else starting a cycle, waiting for a cycle, or in the 2ww? Looking forward to talking with all of you!

nice to have you back. I am here but unsure who else is around. I was just gonna post a similar thread when I saw yours. I STC my DD for 18 months with 2 MC prior and got pregnant on my first Clomid cycle with TI with progesterone and she is now 2. Was hoping it would be easier this time around but we are now at he year mark. Last cycle did first IUI with Clomid and got BFP which didn't stick....

Currently just went in for my US and the covering doctor couldn't see my right ovary (which is the one I always ovulate from ) so she sent me for blood work to see if I am ready for trigger or not. If not my regular doc will repeat US on Thursday. We are also going to do progesterone supp from IUI on since it was soooo low with my BFP last cycle. FX but I feel like it would be too lucky to get back to back BFP.....I would love that though. Just wish my doctor would've been there today....

Good luck with your cycle...let's hope one cycle of injectables works for you!!

I'm sorry to hear about your m/c, that must be so tough especially after struggling for so long already. I have heard of people who got their sticky BFP the cycle they started trying after m/c so I hope you will be in that group!

Wonder why they couldn't see your right ovary? That's frustrating when you have to see a different doctor. Hopefully you get good results from your b/w, and you are ready to trigger soon! Are you on Clomid again this cycle? It sounds like the progesterone is a good idea for you especially with your m/c history. I have not had a m/c but I was on progesterone my last couple of cycles last time, because my LP is short. I will be on it again this cycle. It is messy and annoying but so worth it if it helps you stay preggo!! and KUP on your cycle!!

Thanks! I think we must be the only ones around...lol

They always have had trouble seeing my right ovary transvaginally... It is high and a little bit behind my uterus apparently. But my doc has always been able to see it with some positional changes....but the other doc not so much. My blood work showed O soon but not yet....going back in for another US with MY MD tomorrow. Likely I will be ready then I think based on bloating, EWCM and some right sided achyness. Hope he can see it.

The progesterone is messy but totally worth it to get a little bebe! Keep me posted when you start your cycle...let's hope soon for you!!

Hi! I'm here too. I'm in the 2ww, although no meds this cycle. So far I've had three IUIs, with a chemical the second one. If this cycle didn't work out, we will do another IUI next month.

Hi my name is Erica and we have stc for 4 years with 5 losses. This was my first clomid cycle but they could not see that I had ovulated on CD17 so we will meet with our new RE on July 12th which should be CD5 and see what we do from here. My old RE was great but is moving so we are now seeing the other RE in the practice.

Hey Erica....glad you are here too...sorry to hear about your losses...they are so difficult! Sucks that you didn't ovulate on Clomid but many great wishes that the new RE will formulate a fabulous plan and we will see your BFP in no time. KUP about your new RE appt!

So...as for me I had my repeat US today and my MD had no trouble finding the right ovary! YEAH! It had an 18mm follie on it so they gave me my trigger shot in the office and I go in tomorrow for my IUI. I hope the ovulation isn't too painful since likely it will happen while I am at work tomorrow eve. Then I start progesterone supps on Sunday. FX.

I have to go back to work tomorrow after being off for two weeks, and I am working seven nights straight....at least being that busy will make the 2ww easier.

Erica, let us know how your appointment goes!

Gwenn -- hoping for your BFP this cycle!!! When will you test?

Erica -- so sorry about your losses. What dosage of Clomid were you on? I didn't O on 50mg or 100mg but I did once I saw the RE and he upped it to 150mg. I hope you like your new doc!

Yellow -- with your IUI tomorrow!!! Will be thinking about you!!!

AFM -- I had a SIS this morning and good news - no polyps on my uterus! When we were STC with DS, I had a polyp and had to have a hysteroscopy, so I am glad I don't have to take a cycle off or have surgery this time around. One more day of Provera, so I'm thinking I should get AF Tuesday-ish?? I can't wait to get started!

Ktbelle97: glad your SIS was negative for a polyp....now you are all set for AF and your med cycle....YEAH!! Btw just curious but what injectables are you taking this cycle? If this Clomid IUI doesn't work then he wants me to move up to injectables....didn't say which ones but was just curious what you are using.

And thanks for the good luck from everyone for tomorrow...it is very nice!

    Yay for no polyp!

I'm going to wait until CD 32 or 33 to test. I'd rather wait than drive myself with a negative.

Yellow -- Wow! What a great count!! Sounds like you have a great chance this cycle. When do you start back to work? I hope your 2WW flies by!!! I will be taking 75iu of Follistim every day. They are all sub-q injections so they are pretty easy. But hopefully you won't even need them!!!

Gwenn -- Almost there!! Will be stalking for your BFP post in a couple days!!!

I just started thinking about all the appts that go along with an injectable/IUI cycle, and how frustrating it is to make TTC work around your schedule. I have several things coming up and there is no way I will get through this without having to come late, leave early, or miss something... I don't know why I didn't think about this til now! Oh well, like always I'm sure it will work out, it just won't be easy. Just had to complain for a minute to those who know what I am talking about!

Hope you all are having a great weekend! We are having a 4th of July party tomorrow so it will be a busy weekend -- lots of out of town guests coming and spending the night. Should be fun though!

I'm here too girls... I know I'm new but I've been TTC for over 2 years now with DH. I have two already, my first was conceived after a D&E with a blighted ovulim and my 2nd was thanks to help of Preseed, my miracle maker. My doctor has suggested we try with clomid but we're afraid of me having multiples after my last child since he was premature by two months and had to be delivered via c-section. *sigh* The only option I have really is to try normally and cross my fingers everything goes well. I hope the same to you girls as well!! Crossing my fingers for many BFPs!!! ^^

I took 100mg and I think I ovulated. I don't know why they could not see it but I have symptoms that I normally would have following O. The ofc called me yesterday to see if I wanted to come in for a pregnancy test on Mon and I said no, since it's not likely I ovulated I will test at home if I'm late. Wouldn't be nice if I am pregnant after they said we don't think you ovulated? Wishfully thinking I know, but stranger things have happened.

That would be awesome! I used to hope that since I struggled with DD that the second time around would be wham bam quick without any meds or help....but not so much. Oh well...it will be worth it when it happens! Let's hope you get a surprise BFP!

Hope you guys had a great party and lots of fun! I went back to work Friday night and now work 7 nights total...but at least it will make the 2ww go by quicker ...I hope. I know what you mean about trying to fit in all the appointments you need with out missing work or stuff. I had to clue my mom in just so she could help me with watching my DD when I have US or the IUI's. Will be worth it but is definately overwhelming when you think about it all at once!

My2kidsandme -- Welcome! I hope your stay here is short. KUP on how you are doing so we can cheer you on!!

Gwenn -- Sorry that AF arrived. GL with your IUI -- will you be back on meds this month?

Yellow -- how are you feeling?

AFM -- I took my last Provera at 9pm Friday. I had a tiny bit of spotting before I went to bed, and AF started Saturday morning already! Which caused me to freak out since my meds have not arrived yet and it was already the weekend so they can't ship them overnight! Luckily my favorite nurse from the RE's office called me and reassured me that they have loaner meds -- they give you a vial and you give them back one once your meds arrive. So I go in tomorrow for CD3 u/s and b/w, and if all looks good I will start my first dose of Follistim tomorrow night. I can't say I'm looking forward to starting injections again, but I am looking forward to the beginning of the cycle!

I am feeling pretty good. Had some central cramping this AM when I got out of work. And my boobs have been a bit sore...probably the trigger. Had pretty sore right ovary all Friday eve and night so that was probably ovulation. Just started my progesterone tonight...lord knows I love that "leaking progesterone feeling" while at work...lol DH made a dollar store pregnancy test run yesterday so I can test my trigger out...it will give me something to do. Hopefully not make me nuts but I figured I'd try it this month since I didn't last month.

Awesome you got AF already!! KUP about your CD3 US!!

Gwenn -- good luck with your upcoming cycle! I hope getting back on the meds does the trick for you!

auntmommy -- for Wednesday!!! Thinking BFP thoughts!!!

My CD3 u/s and b/w was perfect so I started my first dose of Follistim tonight. Wow was I nervous! Funny how not doing it for 2 years made me freak out. The pharmacy is being a total PIA and trying to make me pay 3x what I paid for meds the last time around, so I am going to have to do some shopping around. At least I have meds to cover me the next few days while I figure it out, and the pharmacies will do overnight delivery. I go back on Thursday morning for b/w and probably have the next u/s either Sat or Sun. I am feeling so nervous about this cycle now that it is started. Hopefully it's just first day jitters and I will be over it soon.

Gwenn_ I'm praying this is your month. You so deserve it and I'll celebrate with you.

Katie_ I'm glad everything looked so good for this cycle, I hope this is for you as well. Hate the pharmacy! I hope you can find something more reasonable.

AFM_ Still no spotting, no AF. Has clomid caused anyones elses cycle to be off and not be pregnant? I'm trying to not get my hopes up. I have noticed I'm having a hard time sleeping, have horrible heartburn, headaches, and sore bbs. So I'll test in the morning. Even if not pregnant I see the RE on Thursday to see what our next step is.

Ooo, I'm hoping this is it for you! When I take Clomid, my cycles are much more regular than usual. The only exception is the month I had my chemical.

I had much longer cycles when I was on Clomid... actually any of the oral meds gave me long cycles, and I O'd later than I do on the injectables. But hopefully you are having all those symptoms because you are pg!!!
