The waiting game...
I was just wondering if there was anyone else who's been in a similar situation....My hcg is rising slowly (too slow according to my ob) and my u/s last week showed I was approx 5 weeks (last hcg was 1900). I have no idea when this baby was concieved....had period may 1st, started very light spotting when my next period was supposed to arrive, took hpt-faint positive. Went to family Dr. took another test which was also a faint positive. Did bloodwork which showed and hcg of 81. Spotted brown all week then on June 9th spotting turned bright red and was almost like an actual period, so I thought I had miscarried again. During those two weeks of spotting hcg went up to 125, but because the bleeding was red we thought it would start to go back down...it went up to over 300 and has since climbed to the 1900's as of last week. Is it possible I miscarried and got pregnant again that quick? Or could it be there's a problem with this pregnancy as well? Any thoughts on this are welcomed, thanks

I became pregnant right away follow a miscarriage on 11/6 found out I was pregnant again on 11/31, so it is possible. However, I am not a Dr and I don't know if that is the case for you. I hope everything works out for you. Good Luck!

Stupid phone! I had blood drawn at 5 weeks 6 days and it was 13,000. 3 days later 42,000. And 2 days after that we saw a baby. My doc was nervous at 13,000 it was another blighted ovum. I do know that a blighted ovum can give you slow riding HCG. One of the feb dd ladies thought she was much farther along than the u/s showed. They are thinking she obulated twice a few days apart. Sounds like it really is a waiting game. So sorry. I know how miserable that is.
