I am so sorry that you caught this. Not fun at all. I'd personally remind DH that he was the one that said you should still go and he really guilted you into going so he should cut you some slack since you can't handle this type of illness very well.

I am so, so sorry. When I pictured the FB update on one of the kids being sick, I figured maybe a runny nose and thought the pool and dogs would be the worst hazards. A GI illness is nothing to mess with and spread around. I cannot believe they did that, and to risk so many other people.
I hope everyone gets better soon, and that your little cocoon of sleep and safety is not disturbed by bodily substances or your dh's undeserved wrath.

I have the SV now. Hit me at lunch time today, even though I was so careful about cleaning up after the kids.
The kids want to see fireworks tonight and I cannot imagine going out right now. I don't know what to do, they are going to be so disappointed.
What I wouldn't give to go back in time and never have gone to this stupid party!!! I found out 75% of the adults that attended also got sick. How does someone not tell anyone that a SV is going around their family? Everyone who walked foot into that house has had their 4th of July ruined by this.
I am sad for my kids that I am not going to be able to do the fireworks with them tonight. I am hoping DH will take them without me but I don't know.

So rude of these people! I am angry for you too. SV is so contagious and lingers in the household for up to 2 weeks after the last sick person has recovered. HFM disease is another contagious virus that lingers for a while. Those are not cold viruses, those are so stubborn and anyone with some brains in their head and decency should warn people if they had SV in the house in the past 3 weeks.
