    Question should i ask?

Hello and thank you for who reads.
Thank you to who ever has read my prev posts.

Heres my question. should i ask my doctor next week at my appointment for any type of medication to induce af if i am not pregnant?

I stopped bcp last month before the end of my lasst cycle. cycle started may 7th af ended may 11. If I would of stayed on my 28 days cycle after I stopped my bcp I would now be 16 days late. been poas every couple of days(lastest poas was this morning) all bfn. I know it may take a while to have a normal cycle but the last time I stopped bcp I didnt have af for over 4 months almost 6 months and had to have dr prescribe meds to start again. that happened about 3 yrs ago.

    what do you ladies think?

    Thank you again

I would bring it up at your appointment, since you're already going anyway. The doc may want to hold off on giving you the medication at this point, since it's your first cycle off of bcp, to see if your body will do it on its own, but should at least give you a way to follow up without having to make another appointment. (For example, might say, if still nothing in 2 weeks, call and I'll give you the prescription, or something like that. Or he might just give it to you right away.) I also had really odd cycles when I went off of bcp years ago, and ended up having to take that stuff too.

I would def. bring it up at your appointment. Your doctor will know what the best thing to do will be, and he/she knows your body. Like my doctor immediately induced AF when I was 14 days late last year, where some doctors would wait. It all depends, hun. Good Luck and I will be praying for you and FX that AF shows on her own without any meds or having to wait. I know it's a pain, I am sorry you have to go through this.

Also ask how he/she recommends that you get your cycle normal. There are many ways to do it. I have not personally tried it, but I am going to (I think). It's called Fertilitea and many women swear by it to regulate their cycles and to get PG. It has awesome ingredients in it. Worth a shot, maybe read up on it or I know a couple girls on here who have used it and loved it. Good Luck....

I havent heard of Fertilitea before. Ive seen it in a couple of post and I am looking into it. What I read so far seems good. If the dr doesnt want me to do meds I think ill try that. I probably wont be able to drink it as often as it says on the web but I dont think thatll effect it that much. If anyone else has any thing to add on it Im very open to it
    thank you again

I had to wait three months, and then I finally got AF. My doctor wouldn't do anything at that point. I hope your doctor can help you!!! Good luck!!!
Took us 20 months to catch our little elf!! Can't wait to meet you! It's a boy!!! to all my TTC friends!
