    Default First u/s today

I am having my first u/s today at 11:30. I'm really nervous! I've been feeling some cramping, which I know some is normal, but I'll be glad to get some reassurance.

My u/s showed that I was even earlier than they thought, based on my betas last week. They said that I'm right about 6 weeks. We saw a bean and a newly beating heart, which measured 80 bpm. I'm going back next Tuesday for a repeat. I guess that is some reassurance, but I'd feel better if the heart rate had been over 100. And I still don't have a due date!!! My LMP puts me at 9 weeks, but we know that's definitely not accurate!

Yay for a little bean! I was just shy of 6 weeks this time and the heartbeat was 93 bpm- it had also just started beating. I too was a tad nervous with it being low, but the tech said it was normal for just starting. I didn't have a follow up though.

I'm just feeling some de ja vu from my very 1st pregnancy, which I miscarried. I'm really trying to keep that out of my head, but it's hard. But there are more positive things with this pregnancy than the first one, so I'll try to focus on that.

I think that just seeing the hb is a GREAT sign! I know how hard it is though, for those of us that have lost lo's to not compare every little thing. Hang in there girl! I will be sending prayers that you see that super strong hb next week!!

Yay for a beating heart!! As much as we know it's normal for the heart to start slowly, it's still hard not to worry. Focusing on the positive is a great plan! I'm hoping you see an even stronger heartbeat next week, and that you will also get your DD!

I received a call from my dr last night. He said that he believes that I'm 6wks 1 day (as of yesterday) and thinks that it lines up with when I got my bfp. He gave me an edd of 2/11/13.
