OPK and temp questions

I've been out of the TTC game for about two years now and have forgotten a few things. Ill try to make this brief....I have Endo and I did not O on my own and had to be on Femara to conceive my son last time. I breast fed for 13 months and just got my period back 16 days ago. My temp spiked way up yesterday so I assumed I O but then my temp dived down again today. Isn't it common to have a temp drop the day after O and then for it to come back up on day 3?

Additionally...my OPK's have been negative for a couple days. The line is clearly there but it's just not as dark as the control line. Does that hormone level vary from day to day or increase until youre about to O?

I know that when I use OPK strips it varies throughout my cycle. I haven't ever had O and then a temp drop, not sure what that could be. Were the temps taken at the same time?
I know it's hard, my body is not normal either!!! (I'm on Femara right now) I hope that your stay this time is short and sweet!!

It could be that your body is trying to O??? Or maybe your thermostat is going bad?? I had to buy a new one a couple months ago, it started going all crazy on me!!

It could be a fallback temp. If it is your temp will go right back up. FX for a speedy bfp this time around.

Thanks ladies! It's a new bbt and it's taken at 4:15 every morning! Maybe it's just a funky cycle since its my first one in so long. I'm anxious to see what it is tomorrow though. I guess for now to play it safe were going to try to dtd every day at least once just to be safe and O is confirmed! I'm still have watery CM so it's worth a shot! It was EW on cycle day 14 but i only had a little! So we shall see. I just hate not knowing and the feeling of my body failing on me on me again! But I remind myself that everyday holds the possibility of a miracle and I already have one miracle crawling around everywhere that I was told I'd never be able to have
