Default Is this a sign of anything going on?

I have to pee literally every 5 mins. I can't stand up without feeling like I have to run to the bathroom. I don't know if I look like I have dropped at all and there is really no other signs of labor. Last night I had some decent contractions but nothing too painful or consistent but the peeing was going on last night too.

I was overdue with DD1 and induced with DD2 so I don't really know what early labor signs feel like and I wouldn't expect them this early - I am 37.5 weeks.

I remember feeling like I had to pee ALL.THE.TIME for awhile late in pregnancy. I think it was the way DD was sitting on my bladder. I could go pee, get up, and literally feel like I had to pee again. It was not a sign of labor for me. It was really annoying, though. I hope your LO moves off of your bladder soon.

And then do you try to squeeze out a few more drops? Bend this way and that, trying to see if you can get a little more out in a different position? That's what I did. As if squeezing out the last drop was going to make a difference when I had several pounds of baby centered right on my bladder.

Frequent peeing is so common at the very end of pregnancy. The baby is lower and contractions can def be a sign of labor at this stage if I understood your question correctly.

Um, it's a sign you are pregnant. Baby probably has found a nice cushy spot right on your bladder. If it starts to hurt to pee at all, it could be a bladder infection. Dropping isn't even really a sign of labor. I don't think much at all is a sign of imminent labor. We just all get to sit around analyzing every little thing hoping it means something!

Ok I am not just talking about frequent peeing! Obviously that has been happening all along. This is extreme - like every 5 mins. Although, it WAS. It seems to be slightly better. I guess it was just the position of the baby but hopefully a good sign that s/he is more engaged.

I hate the over analysis! Thanks for humoring me!

Other than just pregnant all I could think of was a UTI, I know they make me go to the bathroom every few minutes! And I'm never in pain or anything when I have them, just the frequent urination is my only clue.

That's what I was thinking, too! I never had the frequent urination problem when I was pregnant. I did wee more, but not excessively; I do have a bladder of steel, though. lol

My mom came to pick up DD1 for school this morning and said I look lower! I haven't seen her in a few days so it must be noticeable. I hope it's just everything moving in the right direction!
