    Default Hi, I'm new

So, I've discovered this forum by getting the app. I wasn't thinking I would join, but today I am writing so I guess I've changed my mind. I was reluctant to post because like many of you I am very early in my pregnancy and nervous it will not be successful. I've had two miscarriages before, one just in the beginning of March. Tomorrow will be my 6 week, about the time I lost my second pregnancy.

I have no children and I am probably older then most of you :p Not having health insurance (at least not yet) and no body to really talk to the Internet has been my source of information.

What else... I saw one of you ladies just post about spotting. This has been happening to me on and off since the start. Nothing major, light brownish. Naturally I freaked out, that's how my miscarriage started in March. But I also read that it can be normal. I have no idea about betas and 99% of the acronyms you guys use I do not understand, but I'm learning.

Wishing everyone well. I had no idea how stressfull early pregnancy could be until I experienced it.

Welcome. I agree. Pregnancy is a very scary thing. I have suffered 2 miscarriages, with my last being at 17 weeks. That was most definitely the worst thing I've ever experienced. You came to the right place for support. These ladies are great! Good luck to you and I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Thank you. And it was your message that made me want to write and not just read. I hope things will be ok for you. I'm surprised you have the presence of mind to reply to my post.

    Thanks for the welcome babypayne!

I am ok. Don't get me wrong, it's upsetting but I gotta just keep rolling. Just hoping we all get to hold healthy babies in February.

I found APA back in 2008 and the ladies are a wealth of information and so much support. I think you'll like it here. Congrats on your pregnancy!

Welcome and congrats! I'm so glad you decided to post! I also found APA in 2008 and these ladies on here have been wonderful - been with me through some really sad times and some really awesome times, but always here to support! I am sure you will find the same to be true. I've never had a miscarriage, but we lost our firstborn an hour and a half after she was born (at 34 weeks) to a genetic condition, and so even though it was not an early loss, I still tend to worry about every little thing. I brought home a healthy baby boy in January 2011, and so it IS possible to have a successful pregnancy after loss! I know it's scary for many of us, but the thing I always tell myself is to enjoy my pregnancy, because no matter what the outcome, I want to be able to say I made good memories and didn't spend the entire time worrying myself sick! Here's to echoing the sentiment that we all bring home healthy babies in February!

Thank you girls for the welcome. Al these stories. Women go through so much. I'll try to take your advice and enjoy the pregnancy. Although it's almost like I'm afraid. It seems so fragile and yet our bodies can do amazing things.
