Great pics, Chels!
I thought so, but we didn't luck out and ended up with a bit of a cranky tech. You are so lucky you had a good tech and that it was at your doc's office! My doc is wonderful but the U/S was upstairs from her. This is my 5th too and I've had all boys before this! Maybe we will both experience something different this time. I'm a little nervous at the thought of a girl tho, boys I know, boys are easy. A girl would be a whole new adventure and it is a little scary. Has this pregnancy felt different than the others for you? I have been WAY more nauseated and have had terrible headaches. Here is a pic of my U/S...hope you can see it!![]()
YES!! With all 4 of my daughters I had ridiculous morning sickness! With this little one, zip, nada, NONE!So that is something totally different! Also I am totally turned off of sugar. Anything sweet or sugary just grosses me out. I am totally crazy craving salty savory foods(unlike with my girls when it was all about the sweets.) I can't however eat more than a few bites at a time.
I hope you get to get your girl. They really are SUPER fun and awesome. I am scared to death of a boy! I have heard stories about tempers and potty training and just not being responsible. I have wonderful girls and it scares me a little to think about shaking things up!![]()
That is really something because I had the exact symptoms with all my boys. I never had morning sickness, they were so easy on their momma. I also craved salty foods. I used to make my self a little carpet picnic, I'd spread out a blankie and a buffet of salty crackers, grainy mustard, and SARDINES (yes, sardines!!). I don't like sardines unless I am pregnant and then they are my biggest craving. Or at least were, with all the other pregnancies, with this one I can't even smell a sardine without getting sick.
About having a boy: If it is any comfort my experience having boys has been a joy. They all potty trained and were out of diapers by 25 months. I gave a 2 year limit but one went a month over. He has always been my stubborn one! If you want tips on potty training a boy just let me know. They are very kind and compassionate to their momma. And I've found them to be responsible. Don't get me wrong, they are messy little buggers but responsible when it comes to their work, music, etc. If the job needs done, they get it done, no whining. Yes they throw their dirty socks down and have a miraculous ability to just NOT SEE when the toilet paper roll is empty. But they've always been very low maintenance on wants, as long as their guitar has strings and they have food, they are happy.![]()
One big warning though- They are always hungry. Like, from birth those boys just wanted to nurse 24/7. There was a brief moment where they were more interested in play than food, sometime around 3 years old. But since then it's 'Mom when's dinner, I'm starving...'
Monica- Love the tiny foot shot! You could add that to a plaque with his imprint after he's born. So stinking cute!!!
