Here is my wee one at 6 weeks 2 days! Heartbeat was around 100 (normal for a baby whose heart has just started up!).

That really is the coolest picture ever!
I should be posting a pic in here tomorrow, since my doc appointment is at 1 pacific standard time! Wish me luck, we've had some scares with this little one as it is, but everything is looking ok so far... betas doubled from 8000 to 16000... still have a little spotting though.
Great pic, Babidol!
Hey ladies,
So here is my ultrasound pic as promised... I was 7 weeks pregnant here, so there isn't too much to see, they couldn't get a good measurement, but those x's you see were the measurement marks, and that little white thing is da bean! We're calling it blueberry right now lol.

I had my NTT and both babies looked great and their nuchal folds measured between 1.5 and 1.6. I am measuring around 12 weeks 2 days.2012-07-19_20-09-21_702.jpg
Hi Mommabird... How can they tell he is a boy? I had no idea we could tell that early! I had an ultrasound at 12w4d and they told me they don't even try to tell at that point. The lady was a little offended that I asked and said 'they warn us in school about this'. Niiiice. I am dying to know what our baby is!!
Well honestly I was on that team too! Being my 5th baby and having been through God knows how many U/S where they say "we can't tell yet.." I didn't expect at all for them to say that! But basically I am a big celeb at the ob because of this being the 5th and with the first 4 all girls. Everyone was kinda dying to know if it is a boy or girl. The U/S tech told me we could peek at the gender but not to get my hopes up. About then is when the OB came in and the u/s tech said "well, this looks like the penis right here." No turtle shell but she said that is not unusual since the testes have not descended. The ob said she totally agreed. I was VERY skeptical because I had always heard that you can't tell the difference that early. So the ob chimed in and said that pretty much you can tell with a boy by 12 weeks. With a good machine, and a cooperative baby. But with girls it is a little harder. You want to say it is 70% a girl but then later on you might see something growing there. With a boy, if it is pronounced and obvious they can tell. If not they will say no. They also told me that even when they tell you they won't check, they usually do just for their own curiosity, but just quickly and so you don't really know they did it.
They did say it is 95% so I am hoping we are not the 5% at our next u/s!
Good luck!!
