    Default Confused and Anxious!

Hi, i have been overwhelming myself about whether or not i could be pregnant. (i will add, that i want to be, but we haven't been necessarily trying either.)
My last period started on May 24th and lasted until either the 27th or 28th..I can't remember which day for sure. My partner and I were intimate on June 5th. We have been talking about trying to get pregnant, but in the meantime, he has just been withdrawing before ejaculation as always. (We have been together for three years and have always done it this way.) Well, this particular night (June 5th) he said that he was withdrawing himself AS he felt himself ejaculate a little bit while still half way inside of me. But he also said that he thinks some may have come back out with how quickly he pulled out...but we aren't sure.
Now, i realize that i am probably getting anxious too soon as it has not been quite a week yet. But i can't get it out of my head because as i said before, i want to be and i feel like my chances are slim to none and i that i am tricking myself into thinking that i really may be.

So my question is: What are my chances in this situation? ( with the possibility of some coming back out, with it just being a small amount to begin with?? i'm not sure if some came out, but i feel it is pretty possible)

sorry this post is long and in a little more detail than you probably wanted to hear. but i needed to give the details so someone can better help me! And be completely honest please!

Well, if your period started on May 24th, and you have a 28-day cycle, then you would have ovulated about June 7th, so yes, there is a possibility. It's way too early for implantation or symptoms though, that would be closer to your next expected period date.

The withdrawal method is actually not a great way to prevent pregnancy as there is usually some stuff that comes out before ejaculation. So, I am surprised that you have not became pregnant during the last three years. So, yes, you could be pregnant.

Its very possible to get pregnant with the "withdraw" method. Sometimes I hear it can be successful. My husband and I were lucky when we did not want to get pregnant it worked but, its not the best idea. The soonest you can take a pregnancy test is about 5-6 days before your missed period which would be at the end of this month. Good luck!

Hi! it has been 8 days since possible conception..sorry for tmi again..but i have been noticing this white milky or lotiony discharge the last couple of days. It isn't a huge amount of it, but just some. I hear this is normal to some people. But i am almost 100% sure that it is NOT normal for me, i have seen other types and consistencies but never this white/milky. And never this liquidy or even somewhat of a lotiony feel. Is this a possible sign of pregnancy? and if so, what are the chances that this is "my clue" so to speak..?

oh and i have veins that have come pretty noticeable for the last few days. And they are also a little sore.

You are asking if it's possible, and the answer is yes, it is. However, no one can really tell you what the chances are. Some ladies here do the deed on time, every month, take their temps, know exactly when they ovulate, plan sex around that time, and still do not get pregnant. Some women don't plan anything and get pregnant the first time they have sex. It depends on your cycle, your body, and so many other factors.

The only real way to know is to wait, unfortunately.

Lotion-like CM can be a sign of pregnancy. It was for me.

The discharge that you are describing can happen as your body is preparing to ovulate but some women (I think the plenty women) do experience this during pregnancy. So, I'd test for pregnancy when your next period is due or around June 19th (two weeks after the 5th).

Okay, i will. just so hard to just wait around. But that is what other people were telling me.(that that kind of CM may be sign of ovulation) But I am pretty sure i am past ovulation. So, i am hoping that it means that i am pregnant.

    Wishing you luck.

I wish there was a way to tell you for sure from your symptoms, but I'm in your boat. Symptoms say yes. Unfortunately for me, 3 tests have so far said no. I really hope you get your yes! I understand so well about how hard it is to wait. My recommendation is find something to do, because the wanting/hoping stress could actually make it harder to get pregnant. (Or so everyone is telling me.)

Thank you for the best wishes ! i'm still waiting. I have been feeling some "twinges" or pulling sensation for the last couple of days and i am 12 DPO. Also, i have had some minor cramping off and on the last couple of days which i know could be premenstrual cramping ( my period is due this week) But i have been rather BLESSED, as i have never had cramping before my period before. So in hope it means a baby i'm really terrified of disappointment:/
