    Me - Susanna
What I do - Full time country momma.
Other kids - 3 awesome talented boys. So stinking proud of these guys.
BFP Date: Father's Day! (June 17)
How did you tell SO? Um, I ran out of the bathroom pants still not on all the way, waving the magic wand out in front of me cause I couldn't seem to utter a single intelligible word. It was my least graceful baby announcement ever.
    Due date - Feb 21
    First Doctor Appointment: June 18
Do you want to know the sex- Oh yes.
Does DH want to know the sex- Absolutely.
    Gender Guess: Girl
Have you told anyone yet? Everyone. Even strangers at the zoo.
Symptom list: The first several weeks made this my hardest pregnancy yet. (and I have had 4 live births so that is saying something) It was a constant struggle with nausea, dizziness, and fatigue.
Any names picked out? Etta, Betsey, Forrest, Graham, Hogarth
What's your TTC Story? My husband had a vasectomy in 2008. Then in 2010 I carried a surrogate pregnancy for another family and it made us realize our family was not as complete as we originally thought. Our boys begged for a baby, and my husband and I stayed up many a late night talking about how much we both wanted to add one more little person to our home. We tried adoption which unfortunately fell through last minute. Then we used Dr David Wilson in OK for the fastest, cheapest vas reversal I have ever heard of. (It's like drive through service there but the man knows what he is doing!) 5 months later BFP!!
Anything else you'd like to add? I'm just so happy to be pregnant. And so happy for all of you! What a wonderful blessing this time in our lives is. Cherish every moment of it.

Hey, fellow surrogate! I carried for a friend and had the baby last 4th July. Wasn't it an amazing experience?

Ozzy, How cool to come here and meet a woman who also carried a surrogate baby. Our surro baby was born last April '11. I'm glad I did it because it is always a blessing and miracle to bring a child into the world. How sweet it is to know that little life would not exist if I hadn't made the choices I did. But I can honestly say it was incredibly hard and I would not want to repeat the journey. The baby's momma was not prepared to have another woman carry her child and shortly into the pregnancy she had a breakdown. Despite the pitfalls, I do feel blessed to have been through that unique experience. I'm happy for you that your journey was amazing.

Wow, I'm so sorry it was not all you had hoped for. That's a real bummer! Even though everything went like a dream for me, it still is hard to relinquish a lot of decisions about the pregnancy to someone else. I would have done some things differently with my surrogate pregnancy, but couldn't.

I'm so glad you get to move forward with a new baby for yourself!!

Do you want to know the sex: I know it from 12 weeks, but for sure from 15w2d
Does DH want to know the sex: Of course, he was with me at the u/s, in fact he knew first
Gender Guess: I hoped to be a girl, but everyone was telling me it's a boy, even my bf.. and the doctor said for sure a boy then...
Have you told anyone yet? A few university colleagues, a few friends, my family, his family...

What's your TTC Story? Haha, funny... i wasn't trying to conceive.. ) i used the calendar method (big mistake!), 10 days without protection, 8 days with, 10 days without.. but my menstrual cycle was 28-35 days... usually i had over 30 days... i was expecting my MC from 6 june.. but.. i was in the exams period at university, and i said that i have a delay because of stress.. on 17 june my bf bought me 3 tests, and i was like: oh, don't worry, it's just a delay. the tests turned 2 lines in a few seconds ) i started crying with the tests around me.. so.. yea.. i wasn't trying, it just happened
Anything else you'd like to add? Well... it's hard to be pregnant )))) i think i am a little too young (24 yo), i still have 2 years of general medicine university, i am not married, but me and my bf got engaged this summer.. i think the relationship was too short for a baby (from 28 jan 2011), he is not romanian like me, he is greek.. but.. he wanted to keep the baby and get married after we finish university... and go to greece to work as doctors (we are colleagues at university, in the same year ) Soooo, i have to learn greek language )

What's your TTC Story? Well DH and I got married w/i a couple months of meeting, anniversary date of 22 Aug. Later on that month I missed my period (typical for me, as I could miss up to two months and it be normal) but I had a pregnancy test laying around from a few months ago (little bit of a scare), so I just figured, for ****s n giggles I would see what it said. Wasn't really worried about it coming out positive, thought it would be negative. BUT...took it, and immediately it said POS. I freaked out a LOT, googled all the positive preg test images I could find for that test ( I didnt have the paper it came with) and about a day or so later I told my DH. he did really well taking the news from what I remember. all was looking great, until our 20 week check up. Unfortunately we lost our baby girl and delivered her on New Years 2012. Shes buried in Arlington National Cemetary with a nice corner space. Since then we had been ttc. It was stressing me out for about 3 months, then we went on a cruise, and I decided it'll happen when it happens. I chilled out a lot, relaxed, and then a month after the cruise, I noticed I still hadn't gotten AF, waited a week just to make sure she wasn't hiding around the corner, and I finally brought myself to test (I was having symptoms by then), and I got my BFP Everything has been going smoothly since then.
Anything else you'd like to add? I have great doctors right now, really looking after me. Scheduled for genetic counseling and a super duper ultrasound (17th sept) to look closely at babys heart and other organs. Just making sure his organs are all measuring up to speed with the rest of him. I'm so nervous they will find something wrong, but I still have faith that he's doing perfectly. I'm growing well, and even gaining weight this time.
