    Default Beta #1 = 31! *Beta #2 update*

Now I really get to intro here, although I am incredibly anxious for that # to double. I'm Shannon - My EDD based on charting is February 5, 2013. I'm only 11dpo today so the nurse said that's a GREAT beta number... with my history, they look for me to be over 30 by 14dpo, so already being there at 11dpo is great. My progesterone was a bit on the low side at 10.5 (they want it above 10) so I will continue compounded progesterone suppositories 2x a day. My redraw is Tuesday because the lab is closed Monday for Memorial Day.

That's a great beta!!! What a great start! Remember, with the Progesterone levels, the supps don't reflect as much in the blood level as the PIO would, since they are locally absorbed (and not systemic like the PIO). I can't wait to see those betas rising!

Remember, dye levels can vary among tests, even within the same brand! I took my last test this morning (my first was Friday and I took one yesterday) and my line today was no darker than yesterday, but the urine line was lighter too, so I know it is either due to the dye differences or because I used a different method...yesterday I did the pee in a cup thing. Also there are lots of reasons your urine could be less concentrated!

great starting number! Are you still wanting to do PIO? Did you ask your RE about it?

I did ask, they want to see what the progesterone level comes back at on 14dpo. I told her I was concerned about the level being just right where they want it - and that if it still stays low, I'd like to revisit using PIO.
She was happy it was above 10 on my own, I'm just not sure how we'll measure if we're going to use PIO or not since the suppositories don't show up in the bloodwork. Maybe thinking that it should go above 10 with the CL cyst producing more and if it doesn't go up enough to where suppositories will do the trick, we'll add in PIO.

Beta #2 = 109! progesterone is 12.9 so they are comfortable with staying on suppositories right now. I go back Thursday or Friday for another draw!
