    Default Armed and ready!

Well I am armed with my noveral hcg injection and ready for my first follie check US tomorrow...day 11 (which likely will be too early since I usually ov more like day 17 on the 50mg of Clomid) but with the holiday weekend they didn't want to wait until day 15 without a peak. I did ovulate around day 14 with 100mg though so I guess you never know. I just hope everything works out because of the holiday and all. My guess is I will need a repeat US tues and possible trigger/ IUI next week sometime. It is a rough week work wise for me but I will have to find a way to make it work.

I am not too excited about the trigger shot..... How bad is it? I am pretty good with shots but the unknown of it has me worried??

If it's Ovidrel it has a very fine needle. I make DH give it to me and generally I lie down on the couch and he jabs me. With such a little needle it doesn't hurt much - and I'm a complete needle-phobic. This time around the nurse gave it to me, and I was standing up. It hurt more with me just standing in front of her, unprepared. Better to lie down IMO.

Good luck - I hate when I O around a weekend. FX for you.

Good luck! the trigger shots aren't bad - it looks like Novarel may be intramuscular so the needle is a bit longer than regular triggers, but you will do fine.

Well as I expected I didn't have any follies ready....only one at 12 mm on the right. Lining was 6.3 and he said that by O that should be just fine. We scheduled a repeat US for Tuesday at 11am. Hopefully should be ready to go for trigger at the appointment and IUI Wed AM. FX for my follie cooperating!

My follie was 18.7 so I will trigger tomorrow and IUI on Thursday!! He also said my lining looked nice and thick. Now I just have to figure out who is going to give me my trigger since it is IM and they recommend giving it in the fannie. My mom is a nurse so she is a top of the list but I would have to wake her up on my way to work at 615am to give it to me.....but I bet she will agree. I so hope this works for us!!

Thanks for all the well wishes....it is nice to know we are all here to support each other.

Thanks... The shot itself wasn't bad but since then it has been pretty sore... I think likely because it was IM. It feels sore like a tetanus shot does afterward. Hope it subsides quickly.

The IUI was a breeze, catheter went in good, we has a good sperm sample with 23.6 million, and I was out of the office in like 10 mins. (which was good since I had to leave work at noon to do it with my boss covering me) about 40 mins after i had a lot of generalized cramping but that settled and a few hours later I had a lot of right sided cramping and achyness. It was kinda uncomfortable...not sure whether that was ovulation or what. Tonight the cramping has settled just some right sided ache, and my boobs are killing me which must be the trigger I would think. Now the long TWW.... I need distraction.
