I'm afraid to do a ticker yet....but I'm due Jan 15th, and he plans to do a c-section before 39 weeks so I don't go into labor....but we'll see what the Dr. in NC will say...

Re-useable paper towels. They are made from fabric on one side and terry cloth on the other and connected together with diaper snaps to reduce waste from paper towels

I'm with Sammi! I can sew just about anything you ask but knitting...I end up tangled up in the yarn like something you'd see in a bad cartoon!!

I have a friend who teaches knitting in CA (to the "stars", lol), and she taught me the basics. After that, I bought a couple of books and taught myself harder patterns. My favorite thing to knit is socks--tiny bamboo needles that feel so good in my hands, thin little sock yarn with it's ever-changing color array, and patterns that you have to concentrate on or you'll ruin them. It takes my mind off of things, because I can't obsess and knit at the same time. Now, sewing? I can talk on the phone, watch TV, see, and think all at the same time

Speaking of obsessing...second beta is today...

Lol when I'm sewing I am disconnected because I plug in my headphones and listen to music. I can't stand to do too much or I know I can mess up and I hate seam ripping so I try to avoid it. lol

I personally have no problem with you hanging here with us, the more the merrier!

Btw, while I have only the 9mm, there are 6 rifles and shotguns under the bed (at the moment, we'll have them back in a gun safe once we move)...and 2 black powders including a 50 cal. I was getting a 22 revolver for plinking, but I think I'll wait a little while now. Hoping to have to spend the money on other things. I've always wanted to bow hunt, so I'm pretty excited about learning to use the long bow...especially since I can do that right in the backyard The ultimate in stress-relief, especially when the stress is provided by my ex-husband

That is just my guns. DH has several others and we have a nice display case for our nicer ones then our gun safe holds our ones we actually use. lol I have my permit to carry so I would love to get a derringer or a classic revolver.

I may officially join in a week or so once I talk to my Doc.

I work in a hunting/camping/fishing store, so I'm around them a lot. I'll probably get my permit again once we move, but I can't carry to work and that's pretty much the only place I go lately. We get to use the range for free, so that's nice too

    for your next appointment

I live out in the boonies so we just shoot in the various ranges at the parks and then we go to the IL's house to shoot too. The only time I really carry is to the county fair cause I work it and it is just honestly to get the stupid hillbilly rednecks to realize Im not messing around an not to push me around. I started that last year and I did not have one trouble out of anyone. lol

I'm moving next week, so no more fabric until I move

We sell the Taurus 22, it's very nice.

My son turns 11 tomorrow, time to go set up his surprise party!! We told him moving was his present

Augusta if you work where I think you do, we bought it from one of your stores. I saw it one day when we were "window shopping" and told my dad "Look at THAT gun! Its so pretty!" He got all irritated saying "Guns aren't pretty but I have been looking for that one for a while now" So we got it. He said he can't look at it w/ out hearing me say "Its so pretty" so its mine now
