Question Carseats And Strollers BTDT Mommy opinions!

Okay, so we are looking at car seats and strollers. What did you end up doing with your twins. We have found great strollers (we prefer side by side but could go with stadium seating), however they don't each accommodate two car seats. We found theGraco Quattro stroller (stadium seatng), however the reviews say it is so large and I'm kinda wimpy So looking for ideas...the other strollers we think would work when the boys are a year or so is this correct? Should we wait or just end up buying another stroller after they get older? What did you do?

We used a snap n go while they were in infant carriers. Super lightweight & easy to use. You can get them used or from fellow twin moms. Then we had a combi which was light and easy to use but ended up not being very durable. We have had a baby jogger city mini for over a year and love it. Light weight, easy to fold & steers very well. I personally would not want to lift the quattro, but I know a couple moms who like it. You would also have to check your trunk space. Good luck!

We used the snap and go for about a year. I totally think it's worth it! We now have a Graco double. Don't hate it,don't love it. Got it for $50 brand new at BRU. (got lucky) We have a Schwinn jogger....for jogging and park. It's far too wide to really use for store trips and whatnot. I say start with your snap and go and that will give you some time to find what will fit your lifestyle and car space.

I never used a snap-n-go b/c I did not have the trunk space. I used the Jeep side-by-side and loved it! We used it constantly and it held up great until we retired it last year

I got the snap n' go to use until they out grow the infant car seats. At that point, I'll look for a side by side, since I hate the stadium double I had for my older kids...

I don't have multiples but my double strollers will accommodate two infant seats - it's a baby trend sit and stand (the back seat removes). The infant seat can go in both seats.

I did not like the snap and go. We got a used one and it was really difficult to steer. Maybe a new one would be better. We ended up getting a graco double stroller that steers much better and takes both car seats. I'm not sure how long we will be able to use it with the car seats now that the twins are getting taller. They are 11 months and we use it daily to take them into daycare. It hAs the advantage of being able to use without the car seats so I would think we will be able to use it longer than a snap and go.

Parents can quickly realize that they seem to be looking for some ways in making things much easier for taking care of their baby, and taking the baby inside and out of the car is an exhausting thing to do.

I've been trying to figure this out, too. After lots of research and hearing the opinions of lots of moms, I think the snap-n-go is the best answer for us, too. It's not too expensive, and I figure that we'll sell it at a consignment sale once we're done with it and buy a really good double stroller then. FYI, Target online has it on sale for $80 right now, plus they'll give you a $50 giftcard if you also purchase a car seat.
