FOG...on APA it means FlatOutGallop (Megan). But I don't know if it has other meanings in message board lingo...

So glad to find these abbreviations! I felt so stupid reading the posts. However, itv was amazing to read through this thread and see so many new ones being asked. Guess it does need updated.

HE=High Efficiency It's a term that's used in the consumer world, not just online, so it's a handy one to know, especially if you ever are in the market for a new W/D!

Are you seeing it in the cloth diaper room? w/d most often means washer/dryer...I think.

What does it mean when someone replies to a thread with just the word "bump?" I see it often and usually from the same person but am clueless as to the meaning.

Simply means they might still be looking for replies or answers to a question, they just want their thread bumped up to the top of the room's list of threads. If that makes sense...

I keep seeing posters using "THIS!". It is usually used after quoting a previous poster. Does anyone know what this means? I've searched online and can't seem to find anything!

It means "I agree with this." It's just a shorter more pointed way of agreeing with whatever was quoted.
