Tested negative but still no AF???

It has been a while since I have been on here but I was due to start AF on Friday 4/20/12 and on Sunday 4/22/12 I tested and I got a light neg test result. I have never been late on AF. My abs feel like I did a million sit ups and sore breasts but other than that, no real symptoms. DH and I are on a weight loss journey and have both lost over 100lbs in the last seven months. Is there a chance I am pregnant? Can the HPT's be wrong?? I don't want to think about it too much but I just feel like something is not right.

Totally still possible! You could have ovulated later than normal or your hcg isn't high enough yet to be picked up. Did you use first morning pee? Did you use a sensitive test..digital ept is my fav! Wait a week and retest ( or that's what they say to do I could never wait more than a couple days)!

What do you mean you got a light negative? If there was a second line, no matter how faint, it's a positive. Good luck to you.

Thanks ladies! Babypayne, I took a Kroger brand test (a cheaper one) and the first window should have a + sign and mine had a - sign but it was faint compared to the control window line. I am trying to hold off and not test again right away. I have a tentative appt booked with OB for Friday just in case I don't start. I am just never late (maybe by a day but never by four days). Also, ZsaZsa, I tested in the evening time and I am not sure on the sensitivity of the test. Fingers crossed. I just didn't know if it was possible to be wrong.

Well I just went to the bathroom and I had a little blood. I think my AF has finally arrived! Boo!

Livliv, when I got pregnant with my beautiful daughter, I was one week late. I tested negative at 4 days late and had bleeding at 5 or 6, tested again next day and got a BFP. I realize that doesn't mean you are but ... now I am one week late tested negative at 4 days late but no implanatayion bleeding, and I had same experience a few months ago-which turned out to be a hemorrhagic cyst, which resolved. <stupid cyst> anyhoo my first time did result in a BFP with a darling daughter who is the joy of my heart. BTW, I was married 7 years, NEVER used any form of BC(in my life) and was resolved to being a married woman w/o kids but with a great cat and a a sweet dog and suddenly I found myself PG, (weren't trying) turned out to be a BO which devastated me, but we bought a OV predictor test and I got PG 3 mo after my BO. Thank you all! As I stated earlier, I did begin my AF. The first day was really light, then normal for two days and then super light for the last day! I have no idea what is happening. I was thinking of testing one more time as I am never late! I started on day 33! I usually have a 28 day cycle. Thanks for the insight! I would be elated if I got my BFP! We have been trying for almost 7 years as well and I am really hoping my 112lb weight loss will help my body!
