    Default Chronic Endometritis

Anybody heard of this, been through this? Gotten pregnant after this?
This is what I have after my brilliant doctor decided to keep waiting until my body took care of my last miscarriage and left products of conception for 6 months in there. Producing the chronic endometritis, nasty infection of the uterus. D&C was finally performed and I was put on antibiotics for 10 days. I got my period exactly 28 days after D&C which is finally something normal going on. I went for a follow up ultrasound and I could have killed the technician, when I explained to her what happened, she just said, good thing you already have a son because one of the effect of this is infertility. Aren't they supposed to SHUT UP and let the doctor deal with this?

Anyways, I've looked online and it seems like you can get pregnant again if the damage was not major, just praying mine isn't. I will know more on my appointment in a week on how everything looks in there.

I have severe endo that I was diagnosed with 10 years ago. I managed on BCP until I got pregnant with my daughter. My doctor told me I would never get pregnant unless I did within 2 years of the surgery. I waited 8 years and got pregnant only 3 cycles off. Same happened with my 2nd pregnancy. It's a factor but doesn't affect everyone. Some women never have symptoms and go in for tubals after many children and find out then. Some women, like myself, have terrible symptoms and no fertility issues (right now) and others, like my aunt, have hysterectomies at 26 from it. You never know. People that don't know should just shut up. Good luck!
