This is so great! I'm going to try and take some steps towards that she suggest on being counter cultural. I want my kids to grow up in a family that doesn't just SAY we believe in Jesus but walks it. I want our family to look different...but not in a duggar kind of weird way but in a what's going on there kind of way.

I know with my sweet girl starting kinder things will get harder and harder but I'm going to try and committ our family to not following the ways of our society. Cell phones, music, tv. yuck. I was such a mess as a teen and young adult until the Lord grabbed my heart and I want more than nothing for my girls to live a different life.

Anyway, I'm going to try and limit screen time. Start being better at devotionals with the girls AT BREAKFAST. (seems like at night things are crazy here )

Thanks! I hope to be the "mean" mom as my girls grow up. I know it will be hard in the society we live in.
