Every once in awhile...

I am absolutely baffled at the miracle of pregnancy and human reproduction! DH thanks me probably once a week for 'growing our baby' which got me thinking, I'm not actually DOING anything other than taking care of myself, the same I would do whether or not pregnant. Seriously, our bodies each provided half of the genetic material necessary, I'm providing the 'incubator', both of which I can (kind of - as in, we can control whether or not the genetic material has a chance to meet up, etc) control.

As my bugger gets bigger and makes his presence known on a regular basis, it absolutely blows my mind how much God MUST be involved with all this. He chose whether or not we had implantation. He started the heartbeat, I had nothing to do with that. He is in control 150%.

I have always said children are blessings. Despite all the lousy side effects of pregnancy, I am honestly honored to get to incubate this little new life.

Sorry, very random post, but I got sick of all the complaining in my due date room. I just want to scream sometimes, don't you realize how lucky we are to have our children? Whether from our own incubators or someone else's, this LIFE is absolutely incredible just in its existence!

I am very grateful for His control and guidance in my life.

I know I get caught up in the complaining sometimes. Pregnancy can be tough. For some more than others. But you are right! Its incredible and truly miraculous. We as women are blessed to be such an intimate part of God's creation happening inside us.

Most definitely. I can't say I haven't complained at one point or another. But I already get why women do this multiple times!
