Missed period

So I am 3 days late with my period and I have taken 2 test but have come back negative. Should I wait longer to take another? Or just assume I am not pregnant? I've had a daughter already almost 2 years ago but I had so many complications. I'm so scared because of those complications I'll never have another child. My bf and I have been trying for a year....

If you are already late, I'd give it a few more days and if you still don't have your period, or a positive test, call the doctor for a blood test. Best of luck!
