    Default Paragard and pregnant??

    Hello Ladies.

I havent been on this forum since 2010. LOL

Anyways. After I had my DD, I had the paragard put in. Well here we are 18 months later and Im 2 weeks late. Im freaking out bc I know this can be dangerous. I called my OB's office and they said to take a test and then to call them in the am. Well I took a test and its positive!! Im just scared and a nervous wreck. I know most times when they remove the it, it can lead into miscarriage. Ive never had a miscarriage and Ive only been late on my period twice and thats when I was pg with my girls.I guess Im just looking for some advice or someone who has any knowledge on this topic???

    Thanks.

Im so sorry this is happening to you. I have no advice other than let your doctor know and I hope all goes well for you and your baby.

Went to the doctor today. And we did an u/s. There was a yolk sac but im to early to detect a baby. So i have to go back in a week to see if a baby develops. She took the paragard out and said there was a 25% chance of miscarriage. Ive had some cramping. Guess only time will tell.

Cramping can be normal, too! Keeping you in my thoughts!

It could go either way. I hope it works out the way you want.
