Is it too early to test?

Ok, so it has been 11 years since I was pg with my son, so it is like being pg for the first time again.. Anyway, been TTC to since I came of BC pills in Oct. Nothing until I think now. Took the OPK on Feb 9th ( last period was 1/27) and it light right up, so was intaimate with my partner the night before, and the night of and the next day and the following day ( we were away for a valentines weekend). My expected period is to be this Friday, with my CD 28 being Thursday. Well last Friday started with my boobs starting to be sore, with today I can barely touch them, and they feel 50lbs , they are NOT big to begin with anyway ( the sides are the worst) and just the tought of anyone touching them or going near them has be cringing...also having lower back pain, and some very mild cramping, and when I get home from work at night, I can literally sit on the couch and can't stay awak, and ALL these signs are SO different from what I have felt these last 4 months of TTC. Boobs have not been sore since I was on BC pills, these last four months my boobs were fine right before my period.

Just in my gut I feel pg..lol...I want to test tomorrow am, do you think I should wait...I have a handful of first response tests, so just not sure if anyone tested 4 days or more before their missed period and got a positive result...

I'd wait a few more days, yes the package says you can test early, but it depends really on when you implanted. They only detect a certain level of HCG, which only can be picked up if it's high enough. I'd wait until a day before or the day of your missed AF. !!!! BTW, your symptoms sound a lot like mine!

It's possible, but like Leigh said, it really depends on when you implanted. I didn't test until 12dpo, which was two days before my period would have been due based on when I ovulated. I got a faint line that day, but I doubt I would have gotten anything had I tested earlier. I'd try to wait it out til AF is due. Good luck!
