Could my girlfriend be pregnant"?

My gf and I had protected sex on Jan 5. Full blown period came on Jan 16, right on time. Would that mean shes not pregnant. Anyways... Feb 13 she was suppose to have another period and she hasnt started yet. Could she still be pregnant? I thought a period was flushing out the egg and the lining. Wouldnt that mean a egg is not fertilized. Only help please. Just asking for opinions.

Generally when you have a period you are not pregnant; it is very rare to be pregnant and have enough bleeding for someone to consider it a period. If you haven't had sex since then (or fooled around in such a way that your ejaculate could have gotten into her vagina) there is most likely another reason for her period to be delayed. As such, it sounds like she is just one day late which can happen naturally - not every cycle happens like clockwork.
