I'm Lauren! I've been around APA for a long time, but I've never really posted in this room. I'm a Christian.

During the past couple of years I have strayed away from the church and religion. I don't pray as often as I used to and I haven't been attending church or reading my Bible. I guess I've been trying to figure out life on my own even though I know I can't. I have felt the pull greater than ever the last few weeks. I know that I need to re-kindle my relationship with God.

The problem is, I NEED to find a church home. My husband works on the weekends though. I absolutely dread the thought of searching for a church home without him. I know I need to get back into church, but I just can't stand the thought of going to a strange church without him there.

If you ladies have any advice I would appreciate it. I read your threads all the time and I love the deep conversations you ladies are able to have about your relationships with Christ. It's personal for everyone and even though our beliefs may not be exact, the spiritual fellowship felt here is amazing.
