    Default My girlfriend's delayed (again)

well, i seem to come on here every time she gets delayed. i'm not exactly comfortable every time though..

we never have unprotected sex, i always wear a condom. she's at 41 days now, usually she gets it around 30-32 days. she isn't experiencing any symptoms except for fatigue, and her lower tummy is kinda bloated and a semi-hard.

anything to worry about? sorry, i just want to get some insights from you all..

Condoms are only something like 97% effective (says the actual % on the box) so yes, there is always concern if you're having sex and aren't ready for children.

She needs to take a pregnancy test. If she was, it would most likely show up by now.

would her lower belly be like that if she were pregnant? shouldn't any other signs show too? as of now, she's showing none aside from being tired sometimes.

Not everyone has "classic" pregnancy symptoms the only way to know for sure is to get a pregnancy test or go to a doctor/clinic to have her tested for pregnancy. She can have bloating with a pregnancy yes but, a lot of women don't get sickness or fatigue until later some women do not experience it at all. Some get every single symptom possible and then some.

Sounds like she should take a test! If it says negative and she still doesn't get her period, take another. Try not to worry too much. Is she on the pill or anything?

Regardless if the test is positive or negative if her cycles are very off she needs to see a gyno or go to a clinic she could have other things going than pregnancy but, for her health this needs to stop.

Just wanted to say if you get this nervous when she's late then you should really think about a second type of BC... maybe have her do the pills AND keep with the condoms as well? Then you may feel better if she's late....

    Best of luck!

well we took the test at night, and it came out negative. i used the one where you pee in a cup and you dip it in for a few seconds. only one line came out immediately. whew. well anyway, we'll take another one in the morning just to be sure.
