14 Pound Baby! And I thought my labor was insane...

I wish it would've said if she'd had GD or anything, because 14 pounds, good grief, I think that was the size of the turkey I cooked for thanksgiving!

I saw this earlier! I can't imagine having a baby that big...yikes!

Hayden was 12lbs 1oz and I didn't have GD, so I too would be interested to see if she did. We called Hayden our Butterball turkey....
-
In another article it says she didn't have GD. Her first baby was 11 pounds or something and both her and her husband were 10 pounders. So just big babies.

I can't imagine! My babies were both about 7 and a half pounds and were sooo...heavy and uncomfortable at the end. I can't imagine how she hauled around a 14 lb baby in her belly!

I read about this. She had that boy naturally my goodness!!! I felt so worn out with a 6 lb 14oz baby and 5lb 12 oz baby in my belly I couldn't imagine! Kudos for her!

Sheesh! I tore with Sonja and she was only 8.5 lbs! Can't imagine a larger baby!

I don't know how in the world she pushed that baby out. My ds was 12 lbs at birth and there was no way I could push him out. I wanted to but my labor wouldn't even start.

One of my co-workers had a baby a few months back and SHE was 12.5 lbs! I know she had a c-section, though. Still, I can't imagine! That's how much DD weighed at her 4 month check-up!
