it was on a online i it saw. and i've tooken 2 test since then both were 2 different brands and came out positive. by beta do you mean a blood test ? causes thats the only test the er ran expect an internal ultrasound

yes Beta means HCG levels. when is your next appointment? Maybe you should have your OB order another HCG test to help calm your fears
on the 17th. of this month i will fore sure i know my beta was 812.2 when they did the blood test at the er

With both of my pregnancies, with my first u/s they didn't see anything and basically told me to expect the worst -- but it was just early with both and when I went back a week or two later, there were healthy little beans! Its not to say that it'll turn out like that, but just that there's always hope!
Its a shame they wouldn't do another hcg beta blood test before 2 weeks as you'd be able to see whether your numbers were still going up and at a reliable rate!

If your hCG was only 812, there is NO WAY they'd see anything in that sac- you're way too early. But, YOU ARE PREGNANT. If you have ANY hCG in your system, you're pregnant; if you have a sac, you're pregnant. The pregnancy may or may not be viable, only time will tell that, but that doesn't change the fact that you are pregnant.
812 is a fine number for how far along you think you are, but it says nothing about the health of the pregnancy. Only another test to see if the numbers are rising properly would tell you anything.
As for home pregnancy tests, no, they will not tell you if you are miscarrying. They will only report "yes" or "no". False negatives are common, but a real negative would only show up once your hCG reaches 0 (or anything less than the lowest number they read, which is often 5 or 15)- which takes a long time, IF you are miscarrying. So a home test would only tell you once it's all over, not when the baby stops growing. But, you seem to have no reason to expect a miscarriage, so don't worry about it!
How will you know for sure on the 17th? Will they do an U/S? I hope so, and I hope you get some good answers!

Do not give up! I had an ultrasound Friday and only saw a sac too. I thought I miscarried because I thought I was 7-8 weeks. Turns out. Am only about 5 weeks and very normal ultrasound. I go back in 2 weeks hoping to see a heartbeat. Stay positive, you are definitely not out.
I went to the er today for spotting!! Found out im 5 wks 3 days pregnant all they saw was a sac and not a baby and a bag with fluid the Dr told me it was too early to see the baby that i need to followed up with an us in 2 weeks!! Let us know how everything goes and Goodluck!!
sounds like your guys er trips were like mine the only thingb i wasnt bleeding at all. but i'm so glad the doctors told you guys thats normal you have no idea how much it clams me down. i go in on the 17th so i will def. late everyone know at least by 2 . thank you everyone so much.

Sunday Feb 12 i wen to the er for spotting my hcg levels were at 3,667 nd told me i was 5 wks 3 days pregnant with twins and couldnt see no baby. The Dr told me it was still early to see a baby. Monday Feb 13 i wen back to the er for bleeding heavy and miscarriage nd my hcg were 2,500. But if u Havent spot then u should see ur baby today. Congratz nd Goodluck.

Hey everyone sorry for just now replying but I got some bad and good news. The good news is they did another ultrasound and saw the fetal pole and said I am 6 weeks . The bad news is there was no heart beat so I go back on Thursday for another internal u/s to see if they can find a heart beat and I asked them if that was normal and they can't tell me. Do you guys know if that is normal please let me I keep getting scared cause no one can tell me and I dont have anyone to talk to. My mom is cussing me and telling me I should quit the pregnancy and get my tubes cut or tired. I just really don't know what to do. All I wanna do is lay down and just cry. And I'm trying not to get stressed but everyone is just so negative accept my fiancé

I think is normal Since your baby is growing. Ull be fine dnt stress to much. If ur baby didnt had a heart you probably would havr miscarriage by now but since u Havent ur baby will be fine. Goodluck.

You would think but they said I'm only six weeks but the er was the one who said I was five weeks so maybe they were off on the dates I have an appointment on march 5 for a second oppinon. I honestly think its 2 early for me to have a heart beat. But I can fore sure the lady that was doing the ultrasound was rushing and I notice the fetal pole before she did
Was it trans vag or abdominal us? I was told by my dr that before 10 weeks you really should be doing transvag to see anything

Hmm, mean woman rushing like you are taking up time. The most important thing for you to do now, is relax and avoid negative thoughts, even if they are coming from your own mom,which can be hard i know, my mom was rough on me too in the beginning, just concentrate on you, your man and that beautiful little baby you both made, things will sort themselves out in time i first saw my sons hb at 6 weeks 6 days their count but it was 7 weeks 4 days my count

My doctor won't do visits before 8 weeks just so the heart should for sure be beating by then. It would be hard for the ER to date a pregnancy without a fetal pole present so my guess is that the ER was off.

I wish you all the best on your next visited and if you can ask for a different U/S Tech. You need someone who is going to be in the moment with you,and not trying to get through a certain number of patients or get to lunch. I would say focus on that little life inside of you talk to s/he often, and let you fiance filter the rest. FX for you and the baby.
Well tomorrow is my app for my second ultrasound hopefully it goes well. And maybe find a heart beat. Plus maybe this time they'll let us have a picture
