Default obtaining income while on maternity leave

Hi, I am trying to get some information for an upcoming issue. I am 30 weeks pregnant, working 20-26 hours a week, on Medicaid, and married. Now my husband has no job and I'm looking into options for when I go on maternity leave in case he still has not found a job. I do not plan to quit my job, but will have no way of supporting rent, utilites, and basic needs when I go into labor. We have absolutely no money set aside for my time off due to the fact I am the only supporter of my family and I do not make enough to support me and my husband right now. I am wondering if there is any way I can obtain income to support my basic living needs while on leave for the month or so I will be out of work. Is there any government help I can get? I am desperate to support myself and my child when he comes and I do not wish to lose everything I have just because I have to go through the struggle of birthing my child and taking care of him for a little while without working. Any leads will help.

Do you have any sick leave or vacation time you can use? You can also look in to short term disability benefits, depending on what state you live in.
Here is some information on Maternity Leave and the different options. I hope it helps and that your DH is able to find a job soon! I know how stressful that is. We went through it when I was pregnant also.
