    Default GNR fans

You're probably aware that they're to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame the first year they were eligible to join. That in itself is something of an accomplishment because many rockers are nominated many times and still don't get in. Heck, Kiss isn't in there yet.

Anyway, for those of you that adore GNR, do you think there's any chance the old band will get together and perform? Other bands that had a deeper hatred of each other have gotten it together enough to perform for this big event. Do you think GNR will?

My understanding is that the feud is all 1 sided...from Axl. He's a bit of a nut but I'm really hoping he just does this one thing. It would be sweet!

I would be very surprised if Axl would be willing to perform with the other guys. It would be amazing if they put the past aside, though. It's a shame he has so many issues.

I don't know, but honestly, I sort of hope not. The last time I heard Axl Rose sing live, it was awful. Just awful.

I don't think Axl will ever want to be on stage with the other guys. He is such a diva. It's such a shame. I've seen him and Slash both in concert separately and Slash outperformed him by a mile. My husband would think that he's died and gone to heaven if they ever do reunite!

Axl thinks he IS GNR, and he's not going to be willing to perform.

I don't have any understanding of the feud, but I do have a few GNR songs that I like (and still listen to) so I didn't pick anything on your survey.

The gist of it is that Axl hates Slash. There are many theories why, but my person theory is he's still bent that Slash left him. He was the last remaining original band member and had had enough and quit. Axl got mad at each band mate when they left (or were forced out) but he got over it with all the others. To this day, if Axl is asked about Slash he'll say things like Slash is a cancer. Slash doesn't say anything bad about Axl. Nor do the other guys. Axl has even played a time or two with the other band mates since, but he's adamantly stated he will never share a stage with Slash again.

I love that band and I love Axl, even if he's a bit nuts. I'd love to see them all get together. Although I doubt he will, I'm hoping they'll surprise everyone and just do it.

I voted yes in my own poll. Not because I really believe they will, but because I hope they will. It would be awesome and shocking at the same time and many fans would be talking about it for years.

ps-I thought I posted this is random. I didn't think GNR were Secular only.

I don't think they will play. It would be cool, but I don't think so.

When I was a pre-teen my sisters roomate Kat dated (or had just seperated from) Duff. She had lots of-- pictures.... lol. She was listed in the "thank yous" on the Appetite for Destruction album. Loved her. Such a cool lady. She went on to marry a photographer. I wish we knew where she was now.

Chrissy, have you seen this? Not only will Axl not come to the ceremony, but he refuses to allow them to give him the honor even without coming. He will not be part of any honor for GnR. Ironic as he is the only member to still perform under that name and won't let the other guys use it.

He's a bigger ass than I gave him credit for. How sad.

It's really too bad. No matter what happened, they were a great band and you'd think by now he'd be ready to celebrate what they achieved in their youth. Not one of them did it solo. I hope the rest of the band gets together to perform, but really it won't be the same without him screaming like his pants are on fire (Adler's first impression of Rose's singing was that he sounded like his pants were on fire. That always tickled me a bit). Axl is a mental case, but man he has talent. I feel sorry for him.

I didn't think anyone could sing like Axl Rose until I saw Slash in concert last year and I have to say, Myles Kennedy did him justice.

    Really? Cool.

I agree, Axl is amazingly talented. Too bad he's such an idiot.
