I am taking pills for the first time

My boyfriend and i are trying the pills for the first time. Like most women I've had to take 2 pills in one day a few times cuz i forgot to take them at the scheduled time. We made love monday afternoon and I am wondering what the chances of being pregnant might be since it is the first time i am using the pills and we didn't use comdoms?!

Anything is possible, but I wouldn't think it's very likely. How long have you been on the pill? I think they say it usually takes a few weeks to really become effective. Maybe you should set an alarm on your cellphone to remind you to take your pill each day? Good luck.

Remember that BC only works if you take it as directed. The more you forget, the more likely the chances that it will "fail". As with all prescriptions, they need to be taken EXACTLY as directed to be effective.
