Default Could I be experiencing Implantation Spotting?

I'm new to this site and have found it to be quite helpful. So here's my question. My last period was December 28th. I ovulated on January 10th and just yesterday I noticed some light pinkish spotting. Nothing heavy & didn't even warrant a pantyliner. I just got married in May and my husband & I have been trying to conceive for about 5 months now. Just in the last few months I have been so frustrated everytime my period arrives. I hate when when people say well it will happen when you least expect it. My thinking is well you have to know the dates when you are ovulating. But anyways 6 days after I ovulated I experienced this light pinkish spotting.

It could definitely be implantation spotting, the timing would be about right for it. Are you temping or using opk's? I'd wait til you're at least 10-12dpo and then test! Best of luck!

Yes I have been using opk's. My body is like clockwork and I already know when I'm ovulating but I bought opk just to make sure. And we did have sex on the day I was ovulating and a few days before and after..

Sounds like it could be implantation - I've got my fingers crossed for you! I know how hard that wait is and I know how hard it is when it seems to not be working (took us 8 months with DD1).

Just wanted to say too that I was the same as you... I knew when I ovulated and got cramps during ovulation time as well... I tried just doing OPKs for a while when we tried with DD1 and didn't have any results. And this was with me ALWAYS ovulating on the 14th or 15th day of my perfect 28 day cycle. I have no idea why, but as soon as I started temping as well as using OPKs, it worked a lot better. With DD1 I got pregnant the first month I did both but had a chemical pregnancy... then got pregnant with DD1 the second month. Then with this baby I just started out with temping AND OPKs when we started to TTC and got pregnant with this baby second month of trying.

Again I have no idea why doing both worked for me, but it did....

Thanks It's driving me nuts playing this waiting game. I don't want to get to excited. This has never happened to me before so I'm praying that I am...
