I used an OPK as an HPT (it is all I have). I am guessing I am 10-12 days past ovulation.
I got a line in the results box, but much lighter than the comparison line.
Does that mean negative, or just that I should keep testing?

I always get a second line with OPK's even when I know I'm not ovulating, but it is very, very light. I tried an OPK at 12dpo last cycle, and got a very light second line (like I usually do when I'm not ovulating), and then at 14dpo got a nice dark positive HPT (ended up m/c). I have pics if you really want to see them. I'd think you should go get an HPT though, if you really want to know now. Good luck.

There is always a light line on an opk. If it were possibly decting HCG it would have a positive result like when you have your lh surge. Home preg tests are much better to use when testing for pregnancy. http://peeonastick.com/

Thanks ladies. I do know hpts are better-- I was impatient!
