First off Im not use to all of the acronyms. I apologize.
Yesterday I took an at home 6 day early detection pregnancy test. I should start my period either this friday or saturday. I took Two of them at diffent times of the day and they were both positive. The next day I went to my friends doctor even though i have not offically had a missed period.
It was the most unprofessional doctors office ive been to. She didn't have me fill any paper work out. She just took me back and had me pee in a cup. Then told me to wait and came back literally 60 seconds later and said it was negative.. twice.
So I asked if I dont start my period this weekend if I should come back next week. And she said that the home pregnancy test may detect more HCG than the doctors office one. She proceeded to give me a script for having blood drawn at an off site lab office to be sure. I feel like the Doctors off urine test should be MORE accurate. The girl did not seem very knowledegable of the test strips. Im afraid if I go get my blood drawn before my missed period it will say negative again.
Should I wait? Or just go do it? I was thinking about taking another at home test tomrw morning. If positive, then take the script to go get the blood draw.
But is it possible that the at home test is more accurate?
